Excellent city centre hotel. Old building so expect some quirks but otherwise faultless. We had a small issue with our shower which we reported the first night, and it was fixed by the time we got back from dinner. Excellent all round
Hotel it's self is well located, well kept, staff are lovely but it was the room that let it down, bed was uncomfortable, only one thin pillow, then to top in off I've never been in a hotter room in my life, the shower was pretty shocking as well, it's a struggle to get soap off of you, pressure very poor! I'm sure there are a mix of rooms, so maybe we were just unlucky.
Congratulations to all the staff for serving 140 people in under 15 minutes. Food was piping hot, choices were varied, scones and cakes delicious. The oldest hotel in Perth certainly met my expectations finishing off a pleasant day excursion from Ayrshire to the great city of Perth.
The hotel is clean and friendly. The staff at the desk are kind and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and filling. The staff at the bar are lovely people. They work very hard to take care of you. The scotch selection is vast and affordable. I would stay here again.
Very dark room. I filled in the service card left in room it was ignored. Mugs un washed just turned upside down the card was under them when left same place on my return on checking out I told receptionbut only given a 'look'. Curtains torn window didn't open.nFood was fine in fact the best part of the stay.nThe hotel needs a mega revamp but please do it so the charm is not lost.
