Moness Country Club

I booked Moness for my partners Birthday. The cottage it's self was lovely however slightly outdated, the door handle on the bathroom door was broken and the shower was also broken. We also received a phone call the day before from a very helpful lady called Nina, to say there were spaces available for the Tribute night- The Jersey Tones. This included a 3 course meal and a disco at the end. It was a great atmosphere in the Marquee however the meal was absolutely dreadful, numerous complaints on the night were given to the staff but due to this our night was cut short and we had to leave the tribute night. I then contacted the reception the next day to state this and cancel the reservation we had for the following night for the restaurant, where the food seemingly was made from. On our check out period we did choose the express option as we had somewhere to be, and I contacted the hotel to discuss the issues we had faced. It seemed as if they didn't care, they stated they did not have any other complaints from that night, which I know is untrue and it felt as if they were trying to shoo us away. All in all, it would be a great place for a relaxed holiday however I would not recommend the restaurant and if you have any issues then there would be no point in raising these.

Found the bed a bit too firm. The TV was more complicated than it should have been but eventually got it to work. The TV was small with very limited channels, many of which broke up. The room was very clean and comfortable, as was the hotel. The staff were very friendly and professional. The resort was very nice with good facilities. However, Aberfeldy lacks any character and is devoid of quality eateries or retail outlets so be prepared to travel further afield. It does however have some lovely walks and the scenery is beautiful. It all depends on what you are looking for.

Our Son bought us a treat, dinner, bed and breakfast for our wedding anniversary. Food was very good, staff at dinner at night were very nice. Staff in the morning a bit sour faced. As I am disabled we stayed in because it was pouring with rain. TV reception was terrible. Sign in the bathroom telling you NOT to drink the tap water. In Scotland, in a resort that takes a £100 deposit from your bank account, which it can take up to 3-5 days to get back, there should be fresh water to drink from the tap. If you decide to visit and you drink water, take lots of bottled water. Being a civilized country, I just don't understand why there's no fresh water. We won't be back.

Had a wonderful couple of days here. Staff were excellent especially the cocktail waiter! Pool, sauna and steam room were great and room (we stayed in the old hotel) was modern and we'll maintained with a huge bathroom. Well worth staying here and the Birks of Aberfeldy are beautiful - a must see!

Lodge was lovely. The manager in the spa was very abrupt. Was complaining about the jacuzzi as it was not working had no notice to say it was out of order my friend and I was sitting waiting for it to start when we noticed that we were sitting in dirty water was unbelievable. We booked to have our hair done the next day which we did. Half way through through my hair cut through making conversion with the hair dresser that is still at college not qualified to run a the salon on his own he should of been under supervision. It has cost me another 27pounds to get it fixed. I am a hairdresser my self I think it is out of order that this has happened so much for the deal one cut and blow dry cost me double.
