Been coming here for over 10 years now, love it every time. Friendly staff, beautiful grounds and amazing food! The gym is a little small, but the swimming pool is a good size, unfortunately not heated. Lavender spa located in the basement is lovely, though staff sometimes can come across a little cold. Best place to come for Hogmanay to celebrate, with music and entertainment all night. However, starting to become very overpriced for a 4* hotel. Overall, very good.

Beautiful hotel, spa facilities and rooms (recommend executive rooms overlooking front). The restaurant is lovely but the food could do with a bit of a change, it's very old fashioned and not very good value for money on a dbb basis. Breakfasts (also served in restaurant) are outstanding with great selection of hot scottish produce and fruits, cereals etc. along with the option to order kippers. It is a beautiful area with many walks nearby.. the black spout waterfall is a highlight, along with the deer and red squirrels that frequent the surrounding woods.

Beautiful exterior, nice walks around the grounds. We chose a valley room view and were not disappointed by it. The interior though felt dated, looked like it was in need of a refit. Breakfast was nice. Didn't try the spa or swimming facilities so can't comment about them.

Just love coming to the Atholl Palace Christmas party weekend. Stunning location, excellent facilities, quirky rooms. The staff cannot be more helpful. Party begins with canapes & fizz in the lounge, with band to get you in the Christmas mood. The meal followed by ceildih band and packed dance floor for the ceilidh, just gets you in the mood for the disco! If that's not enough, a hearty sing song in the bar is an option. Just about to have breakfast, which I'm sure won't disappoint. 3rd year of coming & each year just gets better.

Totally like being a revered guest in a palace. The staff are better than excellent....especially Kirsty.....she was always there like a personal attendant. Cannot fault their service or indeed any aspect of this amazing place nestled in the hills. Fabulous!
