Love The Sair!! Have known it for years since the mid 90s. I've been back intermittently since then but I've always had a wonderful evening. Fantastic atmosphere and a superb selection of local ales. Go and visit soon as I fear this pub may not be around for too much longer.
Really nice pub....much improved according to the locals. Great few hours on a Saturday afternoon/early evening a couple of weekends ago. Very friendly, though didn't like the really strong ale they let me sample !! Other ales excellent.
lovely original pub with a real fire and old kitchen ranges in the bar,lovely welcoming from the bar staff and a wide range of beers.
Such a great place!! Welcoming, relaxed and friendly pub. Great ales, lagers and ciders and spirits too. What more could you want! Forgot to mention fab jukebox and pizzas too. Try it out!!

A traditional pub with everything that a great British pub should have. Fantastic beer, most home brewed, great atmosphere, open fires, a warm, friendly welcome, all of which leaves you with the overwhelming need to go back as soon as possible
Former CAMRA Pub of the Year. Even on a quiet Monday at 4pm opening the quality of the place is immediate. 10+ cask lines, small, cosy siderooms, flagstone floor, fireplace, communal bench seating. The most pleasing throwback possible. One of the best pubs I've visited in the UK.
