I wouldn't expect anyone to buy carrots in this condition, why would you even bother putting them on the shelves. The fruit and veg at this store has gone steadily downhill in recent times.nExtra -nBanana shelf today, come on get this sorted!
Has anyone ever used their self service and NOT felt like they're suspected of being a shoplifter? Using your own bag? Needs to be checked. Scan something the computer or scales doesn't like? A colleague needs to verify it while you are left to stand there like you might be Al Capone. It's not even possible to leave the self service area without scanning the receipt and the gate allows you to escape. What's next? Pat down by security?nMaybe I'll queue for a staffed checkout... Or maybe I won't shop there again.
We have stopped doing our weekly shop here, due to tills rarely having someone working on them. Tills now mainly self service. Range of goods not as varied as previously and quite a few shelves empty.
Car parking and getting out of it are ridiculous. You can't pay extra to stay longer than the 2 hours which used to be 3 hours and with there only being one road in and out and traffic lights up by the main road it can take up to 30minutes just to get out! Definitely needs looking at!
I was shopping in Sainsbury’s Hertford store on Tuesday 6 August at 9am. I had half a trolley full and the wheels on my trolley suddenly locked and I was thrown onto the handlebar with force. I was winded and hurt. I carried on shopping and it happened again. Again I was winded and my ribs were hurt. I told an assistant what had happened and he took the trolley saying they would have to remove the wheels and reset them. I have been in pain ever since and taking pain killers. Today, Sunday 11th August I noticed bruising around my midriff and I'm still taking painkillers as my ribs hurt so much. I can’t move without winching. Turning over in bed is excruciating.nAre there any safety checks done on these trolleys? It might sound like a silly thing to ask but I am in agony. Won’t be shopping there again.nnSainsbury obviously has no interest in what their customers have to say. A month later and no response from them. My ribs are getting better but still hurt a bit. If I said I was going to sue them I wonder what their reaction would be!
