Nice staff and store generally. But this is reason for three star because I paid for one thing, alcohol. I didn't print a receipt because I didn't feel the need to have it with me. However, when I was leaving the store it was at 5:52pm I dropped some cider from a torn plastic bag. I wanted to pick it up and put it in my bag, but the security guard not very light-skinned approached me and asked such uncomfortable questions that I felt like a thief and people started booing me before leaving. I had to go back and, for God's sake, explain whether it was that stand I had to pay for or whether I had a receipt for it, etc. I understand that it's security issues but now I’m feeling uncomfortable at this moment while writing this comment. I could give more stars for nice alcohol but rest need be improved.
I love Sainsbury's in general, staff here are lovely and always enjoying their work. Just have to mention the toilets in this particular store, they are in a bad state & could really do with improvement & increased attendance.
Empty shelves ,everyday products missing and people being forced into self checkouts. One wonders if this store is planning to close.
Terrible service. Reduced items didn't scan, no available staff at self checkout kept waiting for ten minutes. Sold out of various items / had short dates. Would recommend going around the cornder to Tesco instead.
Sainsbury's is a large supermarket which has all your local produce and groceries there is also clothing and household items available too, the aisles are wide and spacious, the staff are very friendly and helpful, one thing I would recommend to anyone is to take advantage of the scan and pack app, it basically means you as you get your items off the shelves you can scan them using a hand held scanner and pack them, and when you come to the tills you only have to scan a QR code and pay for them, plus every week they send you offers
