Ryder brow rail station sits on the line that heads towards Sheffield in one direction, and towards Manchester Piccadilly in the other direction.  If you want to leave your car here, you will have to park it in some nearby street because there is no parking available. And consequently there is no disabled parking here either.  it is also not advisable to leave your bike here because there is no bicycle rack.  Access to the railway station is not possible for wheelchair users due to the steps that are used to access the railway station.  Both of the platforms do have covered waiting areas, where you can sit down and wait for a train.  You must buy your ticket before you get on the train, because there is no ticketing facilities here.  There is also no digital departure board, so you have no idea whatsoever as to when your next train is likely to arrive.  Although there is signage regarding security, there is no obvious signs of closed-circuit television cameras.

My mum found a tenner here once. Other than that a pretty basic train station; just two platforms but what else do you need really
