Rubbish. No human contact after 12.45ish. Ticket office shut. Attempted to buy ticket at 1.30, couldnt figure out how to do it online
A train stop than a proper station. No lift, need to go through stairs to street level. 300m or 5min walk from Eccles tramstop
A two track train station accessed by stairs with really not much else going on. A little cover and parking spaces on the southern side. Broadly it’s fine as a regular commute if you can make the hourly time slots for the short 10ish minute trip to Manchester Oxford or Piccadilly. It is right next to the motorway and there’s a helpful - if slightly scary - footbridge over it. But it does make the station significantly more accessible.
The station serves a purpose, specifically for Eccles to commute to more often than not, Manchester
In terms of facilities, service pattern and accessibility, this station feels quite hopeless. There is no step free access here so if you want frequent service to Manchester, just use the Metrolink Tram down the road from here. Funnily enough, a car park is also available here. A whopping 4 spaces. Yay.
Eccles' greatest train station with a whopping two platforms. One goes to Manchester and they other to Liverpool so you are spoilt for choice really. They are seats to rest weary legs after going to wilkos or any other of Eccles' great attractions. Unsure of what facilities are at the station but it's only small so I wouldn't expect much
Boring station with hourly trains to Liverpool and Manchester. Ticket office open for 2 hours each day but of course, not Sunday. The station building burnt down many many Years ago and hasn't been rebuilt since. Temporary platform ramp in the middle for wheelchairs.
For the network rail or tfgm people of trains and visitors of this station, it does not go to Wales
Run of the mill middle of nowhere station. Nice new booking office. Friendly staff.not a lot you can say really. Good service to Victoria and Liverpool
As this stop services Manchester Airport its really poor show that there is no lift/ramp for heavy suitcases or access for mobility issues
