I’ve recently relocated from London, and so had to find a new stylist. I ended up choosing Rush as they seem to have a good reputation and I liked the look of their balayage skills on social media pages.  I attended the salon for a consultation a few days before my appointment. During this consultation I showed the stylist what I usually have done picture 1 below. I stressed that I like a very high blend, and ashy white blonde see 1st picture below. On the day of my appointment, Rush cancelled as my stylist was off sick. A new appointment was made for 6 weeks time!  The 2nd picture shows my hair when I left after my first visit, it literally looks like I’m due to return to the hairdressers - so much dark at the scalp, and colour is far from that which I had requested.  I called a few days later and requested another appointment. The only appointment they had was on a day that I had tickets to take my 5 year old to a Christmas wonderland adventure. We had to cancel and rearrange this. On the morning of my appointment, 15 minutes before I was due to leave my house, I received a text from Rush stating the stylist was sick again that day, and nobody else was available. I travelled all the way to the salon anyhow and showed them my hair. They agreed it was sub par and made an appointment with the stylist for the following day, which was confusing given she was off sick that day.  A long story short, the third picture is how my hair looks now, after my second visit. Still lots of dark around the scalp, a yellow blonde, and some orange stripes at the back.  I am so upset and frustrated by the whole experience. I’ve spent all Christmas celebrations with my hair tied up as it looks so awful. I’ve since made contact with Rush head office and await a response. I’m really hoping this can be rectified. So disappointing.

I had the pleasure of Cara cutting my hair the other day. She was super professional, friendly and clearly very experienced and knowledgeable in what she was doing.  I asked for a shorter hair cut than usual, but instead, she used her experience of curly hair and her previous customer’s experience to cut it a bit longer.  This was a great call and I am very happy with the results.  RUSH should be very proud to have such an amazing team member in their workforce.  I would recommend Cara to anyone! Always leave happy when I visit Alex! It didn’t take many visits for her to get to know my hair and how I like it as she always does an in-depth consultation, making me feel completely at ease! I went for my annual full head highlights, cut and a blow dry and my hair were in the worst state ever. I met Amy who was amazing and very patient she spent time understanding my requirements and the style I wanted. She was brilliant and the end results were the best I could have expected. I just got the haircut of my dreams by Georgina.
