I had a haircut done from rush hair lakeside by Jade. The service was 10/10. She was very warm and welcoming and made me feel comfortable. I’m currently 3 months postpartum and I really appreciated that I was able to sit back and relax and she cut my hair axactly as I wanted

As much as my hair looked amazing.. i was given a price for thr hair colour and cut and dry. when i went to pay the bill was nearly £400! more costs had been added that I didn't know had been added. I had a colour of balyage.. was then told after rinsing that my hair needed toner.. that was never explained as a separate cost. I was fuming when went to pay. was so lucky I had enough money. these things should be explained!!! if I'm told I need toner then they need explained its an extra cost. which iv never had in any other hairdressers. Also I had the route done as its balyage.. again another cost for that colour which other hairdressers have as one cost. They don't inform you during or before which would be better instead of the bill being double what you was told. The assistant male trainee Joshua is also rude... saying that he gets insulted when people call him a teenager as his in his 20s, and then saying he should call them old as they are 30s this is not professional and I'm in my 40s and find this extremely rude! he needs training on how to speak to people. I have sent a complaint via email 2 weeks ago and recieved nothing back!! terrible service for the cost!!!!

WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF I COULD.  SO UPSET with the cut and the service I received when I went in with my mum and my sister. The prices were very expensive so we were expecting good results and a lovely, pampering experience. The cut I received was absolutely awful -  my hair was a different length on either side, the layers on one side were very high and very chunky, and the hairstylist left a huge triangular chunk missing from the right side. The cut is also significantly shorter than I asked for, despite the fact that I showed the stylist a picture of the length and style I was after. My mum's hair was not cut badly, but both the cut and colour weren't what she asked for. She was told there 'wasn't time' to get what she wanted, even though the salon knew what she wanted when she booked. The salon was very busy - feel like they just wanted us gone so they could get on to the next customer.  To top it all off, the salon refused to give me a refund and I had to escalate a complaint to Customer Services. I had my hair re-done at a different Rush salon, and the new stylist confirmed what a terrible job had been done. I was told that, because my hair had been cut so short and so unevenly, with a large area just hacked out, the only way to even it up would be to take the length above jaw level and cut high layers on to the other side. The stylist advised me that this would look awful, so I chose instead to just get it tidied up as much as it could be, and Rush has agreed that it is going to take 3 or 4 more cuts to get it looking even and to allow time for the missing chunk to grow.  Absolutely disgusted that the salon charges such ridiculous prices for such a terrible job, and outraged that they initially refused me a refund. STAY WELL AWAY - I wish I had.

I went into rush in lakeside to have a consultation about my hair and the lady in there  was making me feel so horrible about my hair so I won’t be going back there

I had a awful experience in Rush Hair saloon. Me my husband went to the salon to book an appointment. My husband wanted to get hair colour service done. There is new young boy who is in reception do not anything about any service. He said dnt know any information as he new. He will ask his manager. Which fine. His manager was doing someone’s hair 1feet away. She didn’t even look at us, said nothing. She said go tell them they dnt have appointment. The boy came back saying oh we dnt have any appointment. I was like okay can I book the appointment for next week. He was he dnt know. He went back again to his manager. Again she literally ignore him saying next week. By the way all conversation we listen. He came back he was he dnt know. The manager so rude. Dnt even bother to explain anything. She was just laughing. I was like no prb do u want me come diff time? The manager literally ignore us and behavior was disgusting. We left the place immediately, clearly she dnt want to have any conversation with us. Customer service is so bad.
