Pleasant surroundings in this Bar Restaurant with friendly staff. A traditional English Pub decor throughout. The location has its own car parking surrounding the building. The building is spacious but devidd into separate areas, so if you want to hire a function room, then this is captured for. Very clean throughout.

First time visiting here. Ample parking and first impression on entering was layout of tables, ambience and cleanliness. The restrooms were absolutely spotless. I visited with a friend for a light lunch. We ordered our drinks then placed our order. Sadly we had to wait in excess of 45 minutes for our food. Considering it was very quiet (we counted 4 tables being used) and my order was a jacket potato I was suprised. On top of this my food was barely luke warm. I made the waitress aware of this. The manager was very apologetic and offered my friend and I free deserts which we declined. As an alternative we were not charged at all for our food. Whilst my first visit encountered problems I would definitely eat here again and would recommend to others. The problem with the food was addressed professionally.

Visited Saturday lunchtime and the staff were delightful. Had the vegetarian toad in the hole and it was huge!! Nice relaxed atmosphere

The best pub in Chingford by a long mile. Decent food, cosy and friendly atmosphere, even the background music is great. The management is extremely charming and really take pride in providing good experience. 10 out of 10.
