The Kings Head always has a good supply of real ales, but they seem to run the pub with very few staff. Waiting to get served can take ages. Reasonable pub grub and there's parking at the rear.

We visit here quiet a bit. Last night, New Years eve, not too busy and a free buffet! My local charged £18 for entrance and not a lot more. Beers well priced and great atmosphere. Really recommend. Thank you and happy New Year! Xx

Had the rib and it was so fatty l could not eat it. Service took it away and did not even ask if the was a problem BUT managed to ask if l was finished with the side order of chips also the 4 tomatoes that were part of the meal, not one of them was as big as a 20 pence piece. Will definately never go there again

Ordered food for 7 ...5 turned up cold other two we cancelled very disappointed bar service for drinks well you could die of thirst whilst waiting after complaining we did get full refund ....same cos venue was lovely
