Old Hall Tavern is a nice bar with a good size area available for private hire. Drinks reasonably priced. Bit of a pain to get to, poor links to public transport, but good it you're within walking distance.

lovely little place for a drink and a chat and the friendly staff couldn't do enough for us and the fresh food is a ten out of ten well worth a visit
