The Royal Manchester Children's Hospital is a children's hospital in Chorlton-on-Medlock, Manchester, England. It was opened on 11 June 2009, after the closure of the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital (founded 1829) in Hospital Road, Pendlebury, near Manchester, Booth Hall Children's Hospital in Blackley, North Manchester, and the St Mary's Hospital for neonatal services previously based nearby.The Royal Manchester Children's Hospital is now part of the Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. It offers a range of specialities including oncology, haematology, bone marrow transplant, burns, genetics and orthopaedics. The hospital has 371 beds and with 185,000 annual patient visits.

Cant fault the treatment and service my son recieved. Canteen areas could be better but they are run by serco group and not the hospital.

Great hospital but they treat the nurses like slaves. They don’t get breaks and they over work them in a criminal fashion!

My daughter was admitted electively for small surgical procedure on ward 76. We received excellent care while she been in the hospital. Hats off to surgical team , admin and ward staff for providing untiring service to community . I cannot thank enough.

Our daughter recently had an op and was admitted to ward 76 for the day. The staff are great & friendly and put your child at ease. We dont live local, about three hours away but the long drive was worthwhile for the excellent care she received. Very busy hospital, but would highly recommend. Thanks to u all, including outpatient appointments and ultrasound department.
