Overall, I found the hospital to be well organised and clean, and I would like to thank the staff for their professionalism and dedication. Many of the nurses and clinical staff were kind, approachable, and took the time to explain procedures clearly, which helped put me at ease during my visit.nI particularly appreciated the efforts of staff who were working under pressure, yet still remained patient and respectful. This made a significant difference to my experience and reflects positively on the hospital.nnThat said, there are areas where improvements could be made, particularly around waiting times and communication updates. Clearer information about delays or next steps would help reduce anxiety for patients and families.nnThank you for the care provided and for the hard work of all staff. I hope this feedback is helpful in continuing to improve patient experience.
I had a nasty crash getting my tire caught in the tram lines at 30mph and face planted broke my cracked my skull and eye socket chip a tooth damaged my eye and a small brain bleed and the care i got from the ambulance to the rest of the nhs staff was amazing fixed me up checked ever over obviously there was a little bit of waiting time between stuff and brief time in halls but when I got on the rhe major trama ward it was like a hotal with my own toilet and sink, tv, good Internet, the staff where absolutely amazing it was quiet in there as well so good sleep the doctors 10/10 so glad it is my local hospital
Five star experience at Salford Royal Day Case SurgerynnI had day case surgery at Salford Royal on Thursday 15.01.26 and I could not have had a better experience. Every staff member I met was kind, personable, and made me feel welcome and cared for throughout the day.nnFrom the lovely ladies at admissions, to the bubbly porter who made sure I knew where I was going, the HCAs and nursing staff in the lounge, the scrub nurses, anaesthetist and gynaecology team, and the staff in recovery — every interaction was warm, professional, and reassuring. The nurses who later made me tea and toast and supported my discharge were equally wonderful.nnEven staff not directly involved in my care checked in on me with kindness when they saw I had been there a little longer than expected, which meant a lot. There was a delay to my surgery as an earlier procedure ran over, but communication was excellent and I was kept informed throughout.nnI also noticed how the team interacted with other patients and with each other, even in challenging situations, and I could not have been more impressed with their calmness, compassion, and teamwork.nnThe warmth, professionalism, and care shown by everyone, despite obvious pressures, made a real difference. I felt genuinely looked after from start to finish.nnThank you to the entire team at Salford Royal, you are a credit to the NHS.nMaria Clark
Absolutely wonderful care given to my husband even. He had a fall and sustained multiple injuries. His care and treatment whilst he was on T4 ward was amazing. All the people involved in looking after him were fantastic and went above and beyond their duties to make sure he was comfortable and doing well. Thankfully he is now on the road to recovery. This is all down to the amazing staff on Trauma Unit level 4 ward. Thank you everyone. You truly are wonderful
The Haematology Unit staff are amazing and work so well as a team. They really go above and beyond to help patients and families cope with the treatment. They create a lovely rapport both with each other and with the patients and are very caring, kind and make you feel safe
