I went to send to parcels. 2nd class, of the smallest type. I should have been less that £6, but the lady charged me £11. I was definitely scammed by this lady in behalf of Royal Mail. What a dissapointment.
A few days ago I sent through a special delivery, a very important document to the Polish Consulate. It costed me a fortune to be able to get this document out from outside the UK as it is urgently required by the authorities to issue my son's passport. Without this passport he is barred from seeing his family! Sending it by special, tracked delivery I trusted it will get there, when it should on Wednesday. I called RM customer services whose answer was 'we have no clue where your document is and we will not know' - not helpful at all and we are completely sick with worry. Not surprisingly, no direct number to call this branch. And reading the other reviews, we are even more worried as losing important documents on there way to an embassy isn't a one off. So please, can someone get in touch because if it's not found 6 years old will spend yet another year without seeing his family. It also looks like I will have to report this to the police because my document contained sensitive data at risk of identity theft.

I ordered some boots 3 weeks ago on a tracked 48, meaning 48 hours. 3 weeks later and im still qaiting for my boots. Royal mail has gone down the pan!!! Big time. Do not use royal mail, they have not helped me one bit
Dreadful. On a weekly basis we have to file claims for lost Tracked and Signed shipments. We are currently having to field many customer complaints because Royal Mail have lost an entire day's sack of 48s. And they have the gall to fine us because they claim a LL is a millimetre over the allowed size or a gram over the allowed weight - in their opinion, which can't be questioned. Royal Mail should be put out of business.
Avoid at all costs. Staff are atrocious and deliberately unhelpful. Customer service desk will send you to the post office. Post office staff would rather argue with you than assist and will try to send you back to customer service, tried to tell me it wasn't their problem yet also didn't know who I was supposed to talk to in order to get any form of assistance. Getting the complaints number out of these people is like squeezing blood out of a stone and may result in you being escorted back to customer service by security who will then attempt to avoid giving you the complaints department number and make you wait ages for a manager who was there the whole time but hid briefly even then you'll be on the phone for an hour before you're able to get through. Unfortunately every time I come to this post office it gets worse, items have gone missing, place has the most random and constantly changing opening hours often not updated on Google and just generally always a terrible experience. I avoid wherever possible now and resent having to collect things from this branch. They're enough to make you never buy anything online again for fear of having to deal with these people. There is one woman who is good at her job and nice about things if you can't avoid then just avoid the rude arrogant men this branch attracts.
Unfortunately I Was Supposed To Go To This Branch But Unfortunately I Delay It Back In October And I Was Going To Re Apply Back On Thursday The 7th Of October 2021 But Then I Was Too Late On Friday The 8th Of October 2021 But I Didn't Know That They Had Angard Staffing At This Branch Again So That's Why I Just Choose The One In Stonebridge Park One Instead Of This One And In Fact On Friday The 10th Of December 2021 This Would Have Been My 1st Anniversary Of Working In Mount Pleasant Mail Centre But I'm Afraid I Couldn't Make It So Now I Can't Even Work At Royal Mail In August Or September 2022 Again Because I Would Get A Permanent Job Somewhere Else Instead Of Royal Mail
A big thanks to the gentleman who I spoke to this morning when I attempted, for the third time this week, to pick up a covid test from various post offices on behalf of a quarantining student. He told me in a friendly way "rules are rules". He offered to have it redelivered to the address again tomorrow morning. And miraculously, the package arrived at the address only a few hours later. Thank you so much.

I sent a very important document with special delivery to Italian consulate but never arrived and when I went to mount pleasant mail center they told me that the item was delivered to Italian consulate and gave me a paper with tracking infos , but the very last place where my item was delivered was Mount Pleasant EC4 DO ,,,,, can someone tell me how am I supposed to get my documents back please???
