As per bloody usual, I have spent the last half an hour walking around knocking on neighbor's doors to see who 'might' have my parcel delivery. Still can't find it as no card was left and not sure if the tracking information is working properly. I am not employed by the Royal Mail and do not see why I have to do their job for them.
i ordered an item 3 weeks ago was sent 1st class signed never received anything. i went down to the depot on 5 different occasions 4 of which was terrible the guy on the counter didnt have a clue and kept making excuses up. 5th occasion was alot better the women on shift was extremely helpful and found my item. i wouldnt use royal mail again but its nicw to know there are some people who actually care about customers.
If I could give zero stars I would. Why businesses choose to use royal mail is beyond me. No hope of customers getting their orders. Told to collect from carrier. Told its ready to collect. Wait an hour to be told by not so friendly staff to come back in a few days as parcel not there and likely on a van somewhere!!! Time for royal mail to go!
After a tedious succesion of keyed in choices you get through to an answering service which says that they are very busy 1100 on a Thursday morning and the wait time is 20 minutes. Telephoning Burnley Sorting Office is a useless waste ot time.
Terrible place. I visited this place 31/01/24 to collect parcel. I was waiting more than 1 hour for opening, as opening hours are just a joke 4- 6pm...Staff was rude, inpolite, he does not know how to speak with customers. He did not want to give me parcel, because delivering adress and ID adress doesn't match, even when I showed him my confirmation email and tracking number. What a dumb employee, honestly this place stuck in 1990, better to shut it down.
Ordered my dad a Christmas present in memory of his mum that he sadly lost last month. It was supposed to be delivered on 20/12/23 however it’s nowhere to be seen. And the office times are ridiculous. Can’t get there in time due to working around my 4 month old baby. Not as easy to just go and get stuff
Why is it only open 4 hrs a day, with a 6 hour gap at this time of year? Shocking , obviously people who work can't be home for parcels, they are taking the mick, and the roadworks round town make it even more difficult to get there, complete imbeciles
This place is a complete joke, I should have received a parcel last week and there's still no sign of it and we have had no normal post this week either. The sorting office only opens at stupid times. Get you act together.
Bloke that works there couldn’t care less. Rude to people and doesn’t ask for anyone’s ID when collecting mail. If you question anything he gets his back up and starts spewing abuse.
I'm unfortunate enough to have to use this pathetic excuse of a postal service. They're hardly ever in the sorting office due to illness and when they are they aren't really that helpful.. if you're waiting for a letter or a parcel, be prepared to wait at least 3 weeks longer than it would take normally. Its actually shocking how bad it is
