I've always had a great service from staff at this Post Office. I've just used their Passport Service done online & digital passport photo he showed me the acceptance of the pic he took of me, so hopefully mevpassport won't be refused because of pic - very quick, efficient & professional service. Much , much ess stressful than attempting to do it on-line myself. Highly recommend the Passport Service. I was told that they can also do Driving Licence renewals too. What's not to like
Particularly patronizing and rude lady served me today. Told me that the parcel was overweight for a pre-paid ebay royal mail ticket. She was so insistent and dismissive that I left feeling that I had made a mistake. She treated me with complete contempt. I checked online when I got home and the postage is fine and she should have accepted the parcel. On another occasion was told to take a parcel for drop-off to Rochdale sorting office one hour round trip as they wouldn't accept it. I checked later and they should have accepted it. Avoid this one if you - they offer service without a smile.
The guy that runs this post office is rude and ignorant. I went to pick up two parcels, both of which were attempted whilst I was out. I had the reference number from the red card, and my photo driving license with current address on. He refused to release my parcel saying I needed the red card. Went home to get it, simply asked what difference it made whether the reference came off the card or on my mobile and he became thoroughly aggressive. Turned round and said my parcel wasn't there and I would have to arrange re-delivery. This behaviour is unacceptable. Surely they cannot hold our parcels to ransom? Anyway, official complaint filed.

Post office guy is very rude and ignorant, paid for a parcel to be delivered in 3 to 4 working days it’s been 2 weeks and it’s still being delivered. Called to complain about this he argued with me on the phone then cut the call on me. Don’t recommend anyone to use there service I’d rather travel 2 towns down then go to them.
The owner is generally unhelpful and goes out of his way to lecture customers. Bought currency online through the post office? You shouldn't have done that he doesn't make money. Got a pre paid shipping label off eBay? You should have bought it off him. I understand running a shop can be frustrating however they seem to go out of their way to pick an argument and often make people feel uncomfortable. On one occasion the family was having and argument behind the counter with each other and ignoring customers entirely. With the closure of the local sorting office this is now the collection point for parcels that couldn't be delivered. Collection involves getting in the middle of a family argument and waiting an age until they announce they can't find the package and you should come back another day. Or if you have been unable to collect for a few days you might get a lecture on how you are lucky they didn't just send it back. I would love to support a local business but they make it very hard to do so.
Explained to the assistant behind the desk that I did not have my delivery slip as it had been destroyed. She very bluntly asked if I had any proof that it had been delivered, which I thought I may but I had not. She then proceeded to tell me I will have to call Royal Mail and speak to them about having my parcel re-delivered. She was very rude when I asked her if she could find it, bluntly replying that there are 'over a hundred parcels upstairs I'm not going to look through them all'. Extremely rude and blunt. Will not be dealing with them again if this is how they treat customers who need a bit of advice or help. It takes ZERO EFFORT to be polite!
They are great. Google maps is slack as they won't update the Saturday hours, even though the post has tried many time. Get it together Google !!! SATURDAY 3PM CLOSES
Terrible customer service. The man who appears to run the shop is often in an open argument with his family. Went to collect a parcel, had lost the card but had my drivers licence. as soon as I said I had lost the card he started with attitude. I pointed out that I didnt come here to be insulted to which he said I wasnt getting my parcel. nearly 40 minutes of him threatening me, swearing and shouting. several times coming out from behind the counter to threaten to beat me up before he finally agreed to release the parcel to me. If you have any choice in the matter I would go to Walsden or Lydgate.
Came in today for a return which I was struggling trying to get my phone to connect to their WiFi to process it, and the staff that were in today did a fantastic job helping me out today. I thank them all for them all for making sure they provided the best service possible. I highly recommend.
