If I could give 0 I would. Absolutely disgusting. 13 years ago my mum aged 18 went to A&E to supposedly get her tonsils removed. However she was there less and than 24H and died. No tests were done with her. She was left in a room on her own. Door locked. No windows. I was only 8months old at this time. They didn’t treat her for anything. Turned out she had glandular fever, which was obvious. And yet still didn’t do anything. No one checked on her for hours. She had a heart attack that night and passed away. Alone. Do not go here, as you may not come out. Thanks for killing my mum.
Had our child delivered here. The level of service was absolutely stellar, we couldn't be more grateful for the commitment, professionalism and level of support we received by ALL midwives, students and doctors. Thank you
I honestly cannot rate the staff who looked after me, at this hospital, highly enough.nI was a day surgery patient and the nurses and doctors were fantastic, kind, compassionate and professional.nThey went above and beyond to acommodate my needs.nA huge thanks to all.
First of all I think it is shocking the state of the NHS is in. They are killing people because of the lack of staff and resources. Also the attitude of the staff here was lax. When we arrived there was no one manning the desk it has a note saying they were short staffed and to knock on one of the doors in the CT department. We were met by a rather rude nurse who answered the door with a snappy 'yes'. Lee replied he has an appointment the nurse replied wait in the waiting room someone will come to you as we were walking away she yelled down the hallway 'what's your name?' when someone did eventually come to get lee nearly twenty minutes late he was informed ' oh we were all on our lunch, we have better things to do than be in here. My partner went in for a CT scan and nearly died from heart failure. He told them that he was allergic to dark dye but they injected it into him anyway. During the procedure lee was experiencing severe pain in his arm three times he said to the nurse 'thats hurting me now ' she just kept talking over him 'breath in and out' eventually getting the nurses attention ahe came to check the cannula and it has collapsed Lee's vein they brought him back out to the waiting area where he collapsed after the scan. They put him on a bed in the waiting room after clearing out the people waiting to be seen. The nurse has the audacity to say he was having a panic attack. The Dr who they had to go and get could not find Lee's pulse his heart rate was 37 . The Dr said he normally was a steady 60 but his heart rate went up to 80 that's because he was worried. The nurse was very insistent that it was a panic attack but lee was wired to a machine which was monitoring his heart another nurse came in and started to walk off with the machine I said he is still attached to that??? Oh is he sorry I will find another one. This was one of the most horrible experiences. Lee was due an angiogram and they sent out the wrong letter we went all the way to Leigh for the appointment to find out it was the angiogram aftercare appointment??? What is going on with you people?? They sent out a new appointment and funnily enough have just this min rang to cancel his angiogram which is supposed to be in the morning. It's an absolute joke. If anything happens to Lee because of your incompetence I will sue for medical negligence because you're just not doing your jobs properly and it's costing lives let's hope it won't be Lee's life
I've honestly had enough! I went to my doctors yesterday in absolutely agony not able to look after my children to be told I had a kidney stones and quite alot of blood in my kidney, the doctor gave me antibiotics and said if I get worse in the next 24 hours to go straight to a&e so after being sick multiple times, hot and cold sweats and kidney pain that bad death seemed the best option! I hung off for hours getting worse to the point were I couldn't move, I gave in and went to hospital as I avoid there with it being too busy, I turned up booked in got one painkiller that helped a little for an hour I then got worse and worse with the pain struggling to walk, I begged for more pain relief and was told I wasn't allowed any so I ask when was I being seen and all I got for 4 hours was your next your next! Each time a nurse called 3 names none was mine so I went back crying to be told your next still nothing, people who came in 5/6 hours after me were seen, yes I know it goes off who's worse but people were coming in laughing and joking walking in and out fine and I was struggling to put one foot in front of the other, in the end I had no other option but to leave because I had children to get back to, I'm even worse today constantly being sick I feel like my kidney is going to burst, painkillers aren't working I'm struggling to wee still, I can hardly walk and struggling to look after my children one being a baby! I can't go back to the doctors for help because they said I'm a hospital job but it's that bad there I'll never be seen, I'm now at the point we're I think I'm honestly on my way out!
