Carnival atmosphere is absolutely unreliable. Love every minuite of it.
Go every year for carnival absolutely love it been going 20+years now n take my kids with me .
Great parkrun event every Saturday. A lot quieter than Roundhay, but probably hillier. The park itself is usually quiet. It does feel a bit rundown and would benefit from some investment if the council had any money
Nice large park with medium sized Manor house which would have been impressive in its hey-day. Nice walking around the paths, approx. 2 miles circuit. Nice lake in the centre.
Out of all the parks we have been to in Leeds, this is my 8 years favourite. It has everything he needs and a great path to ride his bike around. People are lovely and always some to play with. Tennis courts are convenient and we sometimes use them to roller skate
It's been 44yrs since I last visited this park, I attended the local school that was Elmhurst Middle at the time, sooo much has changed I must admit I got whiplash and a tad upset but thoroughly enjoyed rekindling a treasured meander with my mum, there is so much for families play areas, meeting places for a lengthy walk or a picnic catching up with old aquantencies so definitely a must
Gorgeous park with an abundance of trees and grass, it's a lovely place to relax, hang out with friends, go for a walk, etc. Benches are located around the park. There's also a playground, basketball court, tennis courts, a skatepark, a community orchard and a bowling green. I noticed that it's a very clean park, likely due to there being more than enough bins. The atmosphere is lovely.
Small yet beautiful family friendly park. There are quite a few trees if you love some shades.
Beautiful in spring, great community park, community orchard taking shape and popular with park runners. Beautiful established trees, well worth seeing cherry blossom.
It is a lovely place to relax and try to escape. Looked after green areas and lots of places to exercise. There is a children playground. May be a little more flowers would lift up the atmosphere even more. In general great place to take some fresh air. Just go and take a walk or for some jogging.
