Wanted to talk to someone about gritting a road that is like an ice rink. Families use this road to cut through to get to school quicker and cars to avoid a junction. Many elderly residents too. Gave up after 17 minutes. Went online but still not able to ask questions. Requested a grit bin.
If I could give lower I would. Reading other reviews seems common for the council to ignore genuine processing/training issues which if sorted would make the council a more effective service for everyone. Should be held accountable for their own mistakes then maybe would learn by them
After forgetting where he parked his car, due to memory issues, two local traffic wardens in small van took the time to reassure him and drive around the town and found his car. Their kindness was very much appreciated. We didnt get their names but it was a lady and a gentleman.. badge numbers 25 and 65. They went over and above and we cant thank them enough, from Joe & Sue
Repair was for today. Got message saying I wasn't in so have to rebook. Was sat on the sofa waiting for them and surprise surprise no knock. Didn't even dare go to the toilet and was bursting to go. Liars
After notifying using tell us once if a death there was absolutely no response called them three times but said they will send a letter that was three months ago still not asked for keys to the council bungalow someone needs to start doing their job
People are too inpatient hence so many 1 star reviews. I've moved to Rotherham few weeks ago, no issues setting up new council tax account. It took about 2 weeks for it to arrive via post after initial email but all nicely explained. So far so good.
Phoned up over a council tax issue and was waiting for a form to come through the post. A week later no letter so as we were at Rotherham we called in. The lady on the front desk was friendly and helpful and gave us the local number. Even the security guard was friendly. When we phoned the letter had been sent on the 18thit was now 26th So we did everything on the phone there and then and hopefully its all sorted. Still waiting for the letter but having worked for Royal Mail for over 22yrs I'll say no more
No star! Had to call emergency number spoke to a very cold hearted lady with no care for human life she was appalling spoke to me and my mother who is a pensioner may I add like were something she stepped on we have no heating no hot water and child and are very poorly with bad chests it is absolutely freezing we don't have fan heaters or anything she said maybe by 8pm tonight or tomorrow by 8pm I'm sorry this is a emergency I have a elderly mom who only recently come out of hospital she had to no compassion in her voice and no care she has really upset us left freezing and a risk to health I don't normally cry but this lady has left us in tears
It has been 4 months since we had our communal bins emptied ! Even now .. the council are refusing to take them and rubbish is piled everywhere. Very frustrating
Your website is absolute rubbish nothing works on it can't login will say invalid even if I reregister, and when I try to make a payment it's tells me my account number is invalid even though it's correct and I have to phone you up give you the same account number and pay over the phone, absolute rubbish I can't be the only one who has this problem!! SORT IT OUT!!
