Quick and dealt with our issue quickly staff member who came out polite and friendly
Apply to go on their housing list but good properties in good areas are none existent that's if any properties are advertised at all that day. Some days you log on it says no properties found. When properties do come up they mostly will be in deprived areas with high crime rate even if you do bid on anything tho you will be bottom of the pile you may even be waiting years. They have 2 bidding cycles now but this system is still rubbish because nothing good ever comes up. Best off looking for private landlords if you need somewhere quickly. More social housing needs building and quick.
I find most of the staff at key choices are very helpful and very understanding, many times they have called me back and gone above and beyond the help they can give you
They have supposed to have got hundreds and hundreds of properties to advertise but most days none get put on the site. They are the ones losing money while they are still empty. They work some Saturdays but still no properties get advertised and with the backlog of people waiting to hear if they are going to get a better priority to help them move u would think they'd have more meetings to get rid of the backlog. It's logic in the end. I'm desperate to get moved after my partner passed away in my home and it's causing problems with my health and I don't wanna end up in hospital again but I'm feeling ill still be living ere at Christmas and be in hospital more than once b4 then if I'm still in this place. It's a lovely bungalow but it's with my partner passing away that's affecting my health I'm desperate to move
Ive had a horrible experince with these people what i hope no one will ever go through again! Going from there homeless team and endless deparments these people have to regard for human feelings! They are so horrible and treat you like absoulte trash on the floor, i mean its no suprise with the scandals rotherham council have covered up in the past. The people they employ like area managers and other things they have no motive to care about your situation Rotherham council are a set off clown and are one of the most courupt councils in the UK
LOAD OF RUBBISH FOR MY FRIEND NOW THEY CHANGED IT ALL YOU CANT EVEN BID WHEN YOU LOG IN IT WONT LET YOU MY FRIEND IAN ALDRIDGE TRYING FOR HIM AND IT JUST KEEP SAYING 0 PROPERTIES FOUND IT WAS BETTER HOW THEY DID IT BEFORE AT LEAST YOU COULD GET ON IT
Can never speak to some one and when you final get thought after 60 min wait, they then put you on hold erhhhhhh, they on lunch breaks all day
Council made an error with setting up a new direct debit mandate and now key choices have skipped offering me a property due to this error. Hard to reach never in during office opening hours and don't take complaints seriously. Look elsewhere for your accommodation needs.
Useless. All the properties that the council have left are in the poorer/lower quality areas where no one wants to live. All the best properties they once owned have long since been sold off and are now often in the hands of private landlords at double the rent. Be prepared for a long wait to ever get the chance of a nice house in a nice area. In fact in reality you'll never get one. If you were born in Wickersley or Bramley you'll never get a council home where you were brought up. They've all been sold off!
