Had a special delivery due and I missed it because I was upstairs and didn't hear the postman knock. I rang dinnington delivery office and the woman on reception was incredibly helpful and rang the postman for me and got it redelivered for me that same day about an hour later. I am Very grateful to the postman and receptionist as this letter was very important. Thank you all you made my day x
Snotty woman on reception, was only satisfied I was who I was after looking at bank card, driving licence and bill with my name and address on, questioning me on why my last name was different, that’s due to personal reasons that I don’t wish to explain. My nan sent me the order and her suggestion was to tell my Nan to put the right name, it’s a little bit hard to when they are very elderly and get confused. Maybe using a few please and thank you and a less snarky tone in your voice. Let’s hope I never need to visit that office again.
Should clearly state not open bank holidays instead of hours may differ!!! Had a parcel delivered yesterday stating I could pick it up from the office today and there is no sign of life whatsoever even thought it states that it's open 9-5:30 which the message hours may differ. YOU NEED TO BE MORE DIRECT ROYAL MAIL, its either open or it isn't
Postmen confuse addresses, several times I got parcels from another address and especially confuse Alison drive with Alison close swollownest, leave parcels behind the signature without knocking, very unprofessional approach to work
There is no wonder royal mail is losing business so rapidly to all the other courier companies that have sprung up over the last few years the service is appaling, the collect service from dinnington even worse to the point of being a total waste of time, the opening hours are a complete joke. Get a grip or you will cease to be.
Collected a parcel on 2nd August but when I got home I realized I'd been given the wrong parcel. This meant having to drive out to the office again today but the lady that served me couldn't have been more apologetic and her attitude diffused what could have been an angrier outburst as I wasn't pleased with the error or having to return for a second visit.
what is the point in this even being here if it's not open at the weekend when most people are off work? shutting at half 10 is no use to anyone, plus when you google it, it says it's open until 12pm on a saturday.
How can you have a sorting office with such ridiculous opening times... and Wednesdays, the only chance I could get my parcel of medication, its closed ... pathetic!
