Great cafe located on the great north road just on the edge of Welham Green. The staff are very friendly. Food is very good and great value for money. The quality of the food is very good too. According to my daughter, the milkshake is really good. We popped in for a quick bite for lunch and we had different variations of the breakfast combination.nnSimple, good value, friendly and clean. Recommended.
Superb place to grab a wonderful selection of breakfasts and lunches. Mainly used by workers this has a very fast service, fresh and clean food. Very friendly and caring staff. Leanne, couldn't be any nicer and is looking after builders, plumbers, electricians, gardeners and all the other men gathering here at the Rookery to refuel. 5-Star Food Security and Cleanliness rating, excellent value for money, including free sauces with the meals, lots of parking and lots of tables, some with power points. Clean toilets. Very simple, no fuss. Great place to stop over in the green, to refuel and refocus and recharge body and mind.nnFurthermore, this is only a few minutes walk from Welham Green Station - and a few minutes of walk to a forest nearby.nSo would be an excellent venue for an outing from London with trains every 30 minutes from King's Cross. Get a quick grub from Rookery Cafe, off to the forest. Back for a cuppa and back to London note: the cafe is only open for Breakfast and Lunch - so this is an Early Risers Paradise Cafe here
They are very friendly and you get service with a smile the Rookery Cafe is very clean and the food it is cooked to perfection I had sausage mushrooms and bacon
