Great venue with great unobstructed views of the stage. Up close and personal.nFriendly staff. Great location in the city with tram stops a short walk away. A premier inn is less than 5 minutes from the venue too which relieves the thought of having to drive home straight after the gig. We saw The Lathums supported by Arkala.nGreat gig, great venue.
From American to the UK to follow a tour- this was my last show in Manchester. Not going to lie, it was very crammed and the place seemed to be falling apart and maybe a tid bit haunted BUT I hear tons of iconic artists have played here over the many many years and that made the experience even cooler. It did feel quite intimate which I loved personally. Security was on it too! The queue was well organized and there’s nice hotels to stay within short walking distance. Super freaking insane, I bloody LOVED it!
Great venue - nearby parking but a bit pricey. Could've used a chair as I can't stand for long and was told to ask security for one - couldn't find a security person. However, this was a great music venue. Fantastic sound and when I was able to get up high enough I was able to see the stage really well even from the back.
Fantastic music venue!nNot too big, you can get close to the stage without too much difficulty. Inclusive atmosphere with a good mix of acts and audience age-groups. Several bars with reasonable prices. Well-managed security and capacity.
First ever visit to Rock City the other week for WASP.nnWhat a venue! Love the fact that security just scanned everyone in quickly and left people to it, rather than getting all over involved like Showsec do at other venues.nnParking so close, perfect!nnWill definitely be back!
