It’s amazing to see all the layers of history these caves contain, in places sitting atop each other.nnThe caves give a greater appreciation of the lives of the people who lived and worked in them, and the range of activities they were used for.nnThe guided tour was well worth doing, the guide made things exciting, enjoyable, and showed some of the details that may be otherwise missed.nnWell worth a visit!
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour fun whilst informative. The small network of caves beneath the busy street have plenty of history in them which was expertly shared by the young guide - she added humour and wit to the tour which made for an enjoyable walk.
Excellent place to visit and to find out about the history of the caves and local area. Andy was our tour guide and was amazing, telling us the stories of the local area, and the importance of the caves through the years.
I recently took a tour at the City of Caves, and it was a fantastic experience! The informative guide truly enhanced the visit, providing fascinating insights about the history and significance of the caves. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in exploring Nottingham's unique underground attractions!
We absolutely loved it here, so fascinating! Our tour guide can't remember their name but they had long reddish blonde curly hair was so enthusiastic and kept everyone interested. This place is a must if you are visiting Nottingham. We bought our tickets for our slot and then visited the museum of justice to kill some time which was interesting and fun!
