The sound is always good in here. You have a good view of the stage no matter where you stand, be it on the floor in floor or on the balcony. There is always a vibe. I generally prefer the rescue rooms to Rock city. It's generally less cramped, the floors aren't as sticky and I usually get to meet the bands after the show and get stuff signed. Also the ticket prices aren't that bad compared to the bigger more well known bands that turn up at Rock City. I can't comment on the beer price as I don't drink. My one gripe on a Tuesday night gig is the 10pm curfew. I only got to see a 65 min set from the headliner which was a bit annoying.

Went to watch the towns brother due who are making it.. 'BROTHERHOOD' Really good night good venue... but literally no seating par the beer garden, also a lack of toilet rool. (To be fair they soon sorted that)

Small, intimate venue, good sound, suitably sticky floor. The beer was good as was the gig. Don't wait til the end to visit the loo as the queue is long.

Great atmosphere small venue. Staff really helpful , nice bar next door. We had a great time.

A great place for gigs or just chilling out. Has 2 outside areas. I have seen many bands here over the years. It has an intimate feel and a good atmosphere. The balcony area can provide a good view if you get in early
