In my experience I have at times found it hard to find trustworthy and reliable real estate agents, so the team and Rochford Stokes are a rare find. Having used one of the larger agencies before to rent out my flat, I was sorely disappointed at the lack of care they gave to maintaining the property for both the tenants sake and mine. As an overseas landlord it is key to have an agent you can rely on. With the two Jason’s, Anna and the broader team I never have to worry. They are always responsive to my requests and any tenant raised concerns, and always provide balanced advice eg what to fix / update and when. They have a fantastic team of contractors they work with and when I have seen firsthand the maintenance and repair jobs I have been very impressed. Not only do they maintain the flat well, but when it comes time to renew / find new tenants they always make the process so painless. Especially when getting new tenants, again as an overseas landlord, they take everything off my hands and personally interview / vet all prospective clients and prepare an extremely thorough analysis and talk me through this so we can decide on the next tenant - all of which have been long term and superb really treated the flat as their homes. The team also go above and beyond. For example, always helping come tax time with any information I require, and they have also at no additional charge assisted in separate real estate matters not related to rental property. Couldn’t recommend this team of local specialists enough.
We lived in rented accomodation in Clapham Junction for almost 7 years and Rochford Stokes were the letting agents for our property. They were very professional and helpful whenever we needed them and they managed the relationship between ourselves and the landlord in a fair and considerate manner. The team at Rochford Stokes were excellent! Thanks for making our renting experience in London so smooth and enjoyable.
We were tenants at a property managed by Rochford Stokes for nearly 12 years, and during all that time, the team at Rochford Stokes have been very helpful and efficient in dealing with any issue we faced with the property. In particular, when there was a need for a repair or replacement, they dealt with that quickly and effectively, by appointing one of their trusted contractors. When the tenancy finally came to an end, they helped us with the handover process and made sure that we received our deposit back from the DPS. We would strongly recommend Rochford Stokes, their professional yet friendly approach makes them an excellent property manager.
I have never written a review for an estate agent but I had to write this. I cannot express enough how amazing Rochford Stokes has been as our letting agent. Right since the day I viewed the property the manager Jason actually waited for a while as I was running late and then later also dropped me off as I was in a rush between viewings, have never received such kindness from London estate agents. They go above and beyond to help you. Their communication with us as tenants has been exceptionally good and considerate. We are only leaving the property as our landlords are selling the property. Even with the property sale, they have been so good to us and have treated us exceptionally well and not just like a number/tick box exercise as many estate agents in London do. Small things like keeping us updated at every stage, sending a Christmas card to us, and always understanding the tenant’s perspective while managing the landlord’s perspective speak volumes about their professionalism and dedication to providing the highest quality of customer service. Everything has been smooth and stress-free with them. In fact when we put an offer on the property, Jason never pressured us to bid more like many agents do and told us to put an offer we were comfortable with. I cannot recommend Rochford Stokes highly enough. They make you feel valued as tenants which is quite rare in London. I would definitely come back to them when I look to buy a property in the near future.
Rochford Stokes have been our estate agents for the past two and a bit years and we can’t fault them! They have always been responsive to our queries and dealt with any issues promptly and without further charges. They have been friendly and very approachable. We have recently moved out of the property and they have been helpful and efficient in our deposit return. Would definitely recommend Rochford Stokes to anyone!
I rented with Rochford Stokes for a while and they were fantastic. They were all super friendly and an approachable. Renting through them and sorting a change of tenant was easy and seamless - a special shoutout to Anna and Suzie for organising this! They were really easy to get hold of too and nothing was too much to ask. Me and my sister just bought a property thorough Rochford Stokes and we had an excellent experience and cannot recommend them enough. They were communicative throughout the entire process, with quick replies and helped liaise with our solicitors . We were able to complete on time due to their assistance and I would not hesitate to go back to them if we rent or buy in Battersea again.
Jason, Jason, Anna and the team were absolutely brilliant for the four years we rented our flat in Stockwell. As a landlord, I am so pleased we moved to Rochford Stokes from the large national agency that we had been using. Rochford Stokes are amazing – they are a small, friendly, professional team.
