I would not recommend renting from or letting through this agency. We have had some absolutely awful experiences with them that have made it clear they have zero respect for the well-being of their tenants. They've done multiple things to make our tenancy a stressful experience, including: - Not showing up for our check in and forcing us to travel over an hour round trip to collect our keys, only then to give us the wrong keys and forcing us to travel back - Leaving the flat in an awful state when we moved in rubbish everywhere, stains, unusable furniture, which they were fully aware of given it was all pictured in the inventory report they just didn't care to do anything about it - Being completely disorganised asking for documents multiple times after we had already sent them - saying we hadn't send them when we had - Delaying the return of our deposit by a week which was in explicit violation of our tenancy agreement simply because they hadn't reached out to the landlord to confirm its return For these reasons and more, I would highly suggest you stay away from this agency. It is by far the worst experience I've had with a letting agency in London which is a very low bar There are plenty of other agencies out there that will respect you at the very least and care for your well-being
We recently moved in to a property managed by Acquire Estate Agents and they have been exceptionally helpful from the tenancy agreement, move-in and contractor arrangements. They have been pro-active in their responses and other negotiations and we are beyond satisfied with their professionalism.
The worst agency for renting I have dealt with. Questionable practices, and these are just a few of the problems they created for me: - They tried to charge me £130 for a lost mailbox key. Instead of letting me know that I could go to concierge and ask the repairman to do the required job for free. - At the end of the tenancy they tried to charge us for damages that existed before we moved in, when all they had to do was check the previous check-in reports unfortunately they are incompetent and I had to do this instead to prove that we do not have to pay for damages that we did not cause. - They asked me about renewing my tenancy, to which I agreed and also paid a deposit. Then a few days later they cancelled the renewal because, apparently, the landlord wanted to move back to London. This left us with just 2 weeks to find another property to rent, which is ridiculous we had to request for more time. Then I found out that the property was put up on the market for rent again a few months later and that too at a lower price than what was offered to us during the renewal.
We were so delighted with this apartment. It is beautifully and comfortably styled with everything you could want for a stay in London. Only 3 mins walk from the tube and all that London has to offer. A beautiful safe location and the apartment is quiet despite being close to bars, restaurants and Clapham Common We arrived a day late due to my partner being unwell and communication with Aaron was spot on and very thoughtful as well due to our delay. We will be back as we come into London often and this will be our go to place to stay.
Worst possible letting agents in the area. Despite paying a fee; managers lacked any common sense or initiative to address tenants questions and simply engaged in a forward of email back and forth which constantly frustrated tenants and landlords equally. Claimed there was no interest in the property for weeks, however on moving to a well-known and more organised letting agency, we have had 19 viewings and 5 competitive bids in a matter of a week. Often their tone is defensive, patronising and dismissive. Do not recommend working with Acquire Letting Agents if you have a property you love and need true experts to take care of it. In addition as of 23.07, Acquire on seeing this review have shared an email from their "legal team" asking for this review to be removed. To reiterate, this is our OWN opinion of their services we paid for and are ENTITLED to this, without fear of legal threats.

Since day 1, I’ve had a fantastic experience with Acquire. They have always been speedy to sort/help with any issues and they make the whole process so easy! In particular, Gledis has helped so much throughout my tenancy and has always gone above & beyond for us! I definitely recommend renting through Acquire!
