The team at Robert Williams have been an absolute pleasure to deal with over the years for buying, selling and renting in Exeter. They are knowledgeable, honest, friendly & helpful. Simply put the best estate agents I’ve ever done business with. I would highly recommend them to anybody for a professional and efficient service with a genuine personal touch. A real shame most other agents can’t perform to the same level.

The service at this firm was first class from start to finish when selling my flat. Emma went above and beyond when I had any queries, and was always on hand to answer my questions, often calling me out of office hours to keep me informed from the first viewing right through to the sale. Her knowledge of the property market was excellent and her empathy with clients makes her so easy to deal with and an asset to the company. Thank you very much.

We cannot recommend Steve and his team at Robert Williams highly enough. We have moved nine times in the last 19 years and have never before felt compelled to recommend an estate agent. Do not be put off by their small size, this is their biggest asset, offering an incredibly personal service. To give some specific examples. They took photos of every room and put all of these on the website along with a detailed description. It was a dull day when the photos were taken and they mentioned they would come back on the next sunny day and take some additional photos of the garden etc. Whilst I thought this would be a good idea, I doubted they would actually return, however, true to their word, the next sunny day they called to ask if they could come and take more photos. Like most estate agents they promised to accompany every viewing, but unlike every estate agent we've ever used, they actually did accompany every viewing, often rearranging their diaries at short notice to accommodate both the viewers and us. We had two agents showing the house, both of whom came up in advance of the house going on the market to familiarise themselves with the layout and features. Viewers were not rushed round but were able to take as long as they needed. We have looked at many houses recently and over half of the agents were not familiar with the house or made no attempt to show or sell it, turned up late and then rushed you round as they had other appointments. Their service did not end with an offer on the house. They went above and beyond on so many issues smoothing a very bumpy completion process between us and our buyer. They could have easily passed the burden to the solicitors or left it for us to deal with, but they didn't. Indeed, if Steve hadn't got involved to the extent that he did, we would not have completed and the house would have still been on the market. Do not underestimate the value and importance of having a good estate agent. Steve and his team at Robert Williams will not disappoint, and you will not begrudge paying them their commission as they truly earn it.

As you said in your final email, it has been an unexpectedly long and anxious time for me and for XX who has work so diligently and efficiently on my behalf. XX tells me that you have gone over and beyond the call of duty, even to the extent of clearing out the rubbish at the last minute from the roof space and that you and Nick personally went up there to make sure that it was all out.
