Just pop in for a sandwich and drinks , location is really good but thr price range and the service is horrific , they don't trained enough to keep eyes on tables and customers. Hope the management makes some progress .
Warm people with nature-friendly cafe It took a while to get served my dishes because of a lot of people and the small kitchen. Its the perfect place if you want to chill out!Food: 4/5
They were rude. The board outside says food is served until 4pm, I went in at 3:30 and after waiting while one member of staff chose to clear a spill on the floor behind the counter before acknowledging me, was belligerently asked how they could help me and then told they were not serving food any more. I referenced the board outside mentioning 4pm, they replied very bluntly that the kitchen had been busy. No apology or niceties at all. I felt very unwelcome as a potential customer and so won’t be bringing them my custom today when I revisit Exeter Quay with family the reason I was scoping out food places yesterday. Being rude to customers is always inadvisable when you work in hospitality.
Great little place had burger and chips so fresh lovely little salad with it jacket potato’s looked good as well cooked all fresh great little antique shop worth a visitFood: 5/5
What an amazing place. Staff wonderful. Food and drinks fabulous and to top it all dog friendly. Seemed to be a rarity in Exeter. Will definitely visit again if I the area.
Lovely position on the Quay only stopped off for a coffee but will hopefully be back in time to sample the food.Service: 4/5

Been to Exeter many times but never been to Riverside Cafe. Atmosphere very nice, friendly welcoming staff. Their coffee blend was excellent! Will defiantly go again next time in Exeter!Food: 5/5
