One of my favourite coffee places in Exeter. Great coffee. Friendly staff. Lovely riverside setting so pleasant to sit outside but in normal times in winter it is cosy and comfortable inside too with soft sofas, little alcoves and books to read. My little grandsons love it.

A very quirky and eclectic environment with an extremely friendly and nice owner. We went past this place and it was full; we went back and decided to go for takeaway. Their cakes looked great and their coffee too. Pop by this place for a nice experience.

Cosy, friendly, interesting and quirky place with wonderful vintage interior and outside river view seats too. Great for smoothies, coffees, cakes, soup and also great place to relax, read, play board games. Recommended!

Coffee quite good. Can get take out.  Servers friendly. Not a bad place to stop after a stroll around the key.

Friendly staff, great atmosphere

We love the interior and atmosphere of the cafe so we normally don't mind waiting for a coffee if we're drinking in .. however the service during lockdown is so very slow..with an hour wait in total for two coffees... I'm not sure we'll choose it again unfortunately..

Quirky and vintage are the two words I would use to describe this unique cellar cafe. There is adequate outdoor seating as well as indoor sofas and chairs. Their latte is good and the staff make a show of preparing it in front of the customers. Overall not my kind of place, but well worth a visit!

Lovely selection of savory and sweet. Their bacon sandwiches are excellent, as are their ice creams.
