I've been meaning to go to this place for some time now. I finally did. It is an original place, with a good choice of sandwiches, fairly good service, and quit nice decor inside. I ordered a small lunch, toasted sandwich with chicken , crisps, and hazelnut coffee. I paid for lunch, 14 £. In reality, in some other place, I would have basically 3 lunches combined from sandwich, drink, and snack . I believe that it was too pricy. I'm happy that I tried this place, but I doubt I'm going to go there again.
Came across this place whilst walking around Exeter and decided to stop in for a quick bite to eat. The food was awesome! Their selection of sandwiches is interesting and the one I had was delicious. Nice coffee too. We sat in, but not a huge amount of tables available. Friendly and helpful staffFood: 5/5
Yum, yes! What a delicious little spot! I’ve been a few times now and have been impressed each time. The food is so good and feels fresh and thoughtful. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. It can get busy but there is plenty of outdoor seating if you can’t find a spot inside. Happy to have found a consistently great lunch spot in the city centre.
Amazing sourdough toasties. Terrific range of fillings. Good price for good quality. Tables needed a bit of a clean and staff weren't the most welcoming, but it was busy at the time.Food: 5/5

Very very lovely cafe with a range of fresh sandwiches and lots of coffee options. Splendid vibes! The iced chai here is exceptional, I recommend with the oat milk £3.50. It’s nice to go to a independent coffee shop! :
Nice to see Chandos still doing well. Lovely to call by for a quick lunch and coffee. Fantastic sandwich selection all ready for toasting plus excellent coffee. Lots of other lunch options plus high quality deli items. Plenty of seating both inside and out.Food: 5/5

Definitely the best toasties in Exeter are at Chandos! Very good coffee also, very nice staff, everything is fresh and delicious!
