Can't say much about Italian food since I'm not a huge fan, however this place has a nice selection to choose from. The lobster risotto is tasty and the dishes are all well presented. Too much dessert choice, which is a good thing! I went for the pistachio cake, but I probably should have tried for the tiramisu.
Nice place and very crowded. Was able to get a table on walk-in. Service was good. Truffle rice fried balls were okay. Octopus carpaccio was okay no photo. Lobster spaghetti was excellent and tasty. The waiter who took the orders didn’t help much during ordering and was in a hurry. The waiter/busboy/server delivering the food was very nice and very helpful and left a good impression.
Traditional Italian food with enthusiastic staffs and a wide variety of italian wine. The lobster spaghetti is a special one and a must-try if it is your first visit. The eggplants and crab cake are very delicious too. A nice restaurant for dating or big crowds gathering!
Traditional Italian food, a trusted restaurant brand for several years they are part of the San Carlo and Cicchetti group. Find most of the dishes here to be a 9-10/10. Seating could be better as some tables are cramped upespecially the tables for 5-6. Some may say the staff is rude however I disagree, they are proper Italian which is loud, chirpy and witty. Always a good choice for Italian food in London! not pictured but the signature dish here is the lobster spaghetti!
Best Italian in London! It feels like being in Italy. If you want to taste good pasta, go here. The salmon is also really good. Service is also really good. I came back last week and I had pasta as main. It was delicious!
Prawn spaghetti was great. Loved the olives they gave before too. The bread they offered in the beginning wasn’t good though. Rocket salad was good too. A lovely lunch overall.
I’ve been taking pics of this restaurant all the previous times I’ve been in London as I found it highly instagrammable. Yesterday, we decided to simply walk in and try. And I must tell you, it was a great decision. Lobster risotto was epic. My carbonara was alrighty a bit heavy for my taste as I could feel the egg yolk and I don’t prefer it like that, however I get this is the authentic Italian way so I’m not complaining. The curly pasta with the Ragu sauce was also very tasty. Favorite part that screamed Italian hospitality was the complimentary bowl of olives and chopped fresh tomatoes with olive oil that would allow you to make your own mini bruschetta as a starter. On the downsize, place can be a bit loud, but hey, so are Italians, so again, let’s consider this part of the authentic Italian experience. Overall all loved it. One small comment: I generally don’t appreciate it when I hear waiters asking “are you gonna leave tip to the guys” and I’ve heard that a lot while people around us were asking for the bill. Especially when on the actual bill it was already calculated a 12 % tip for the guys. I’ve faced this in almost every restaurant in London, I just happen to face it quite a lot in this one that’s why I’m mentioning this.
The food is very delicious the portions were good. Loved the spaghetti lobster and the ravioli were awesome. The price is a bit high the service was on point
Can’t believe I’ve never been here before! Great setting, full of families and a fantastic old school Italian menu. Not expensive either, considering location and crab linguine was amazing!
One of the best Italian restaurants in London and the oldest… love the vibes … food is super yummy Spaghetti lobster is their signature and best
