Step inside this restaurant and you feel you are in Italy already! We loved our food and were very happy to see they provided smaller portions for many of the dishes which allowed us to try more things. The service was perfect and very quick until the point that we finished our food. Not sure why after that even though they could see we were waiting for getting the bill and paying, we had to wait for more than 15 minutes, so one star is dropped for that. Also, they did not accept tips by card which was strange given that it's a family-run business. Still, I'd definitely recommend the place for its cosy Italian vibe and great food.
Massive portions, great tasting food. We visited on a busy Friday night but we were straight to our booked table. Fast, friendly service, we were never left waiting. Only negative is that tips given by card are not passed on to the staff. I don't like that....
From the very first warm welcome to the smiling handshake from Marco saying goodnight, this has to be one of the friendliest - and authentically Italian - restaurants anywhere. The ambience inside is typical of a trattoria, all bustle and laughter. The seating is close together but this again just adds to the authenticity. There is a good wine selection available but the house red was pleasant and cheap. We ordered a pizza and a pasta dish, both came quickly, freshly cooked, piping hot, delicious, and really huge. In the kitchen we could see the chefs spinning pizza dough by hand. Can't wait to visit again!
Absolutely authentic experience from start to finish. From the Italian family welcome at the door to the flourish of ground pepper, this place delivered on every front. Watching the chef work the pizza dough reminded me of everything that is great about Italian traditions. Real gem and should not be missed.
Excellent meal at very reasonable prices. We hadn’t booked but they squeezed us in as the restaurant was incredibly busy. The service was fantastic, the staff worked together so well and the food was cooked to perfection so much so I couldn’t bare to waste any and brought it home with me. We shared a tiramisu which was also incredible. We would both return.
This was our first visit to this hidden away gem in Chester. Friendly and professional staff, great atmosphere, food arrived in a timely fashion and was superb! The wine selection was great in this no nonsense family run restaurant. We enjoyed our experience so much we've rebooked for our anniversary. Highly recommended if you're visiting Chester and looking for somewhere to eat, would recommend booking in advance however as they were super busy. Dietary restrictions: One of our party suffers with chrome's disease which the staff went out of their way to accommodate avoiding cheese and all things dairy for them.
Worst Italian restaurant in Chester. Booked table for 20:45, arrived on time with family and kids, sorry we not have a table at the moment, waiting over 20 min. They offer to us seating area on the back of restaurant you have to go outside and go round, we have a concern if this place will be warm for us, because was only a tent, don't worry we have heater above your table, ow sorry but heater not working kids was cold. Tent was dirty and untidy. Food was terrible. We had a bad experience won't recommend for anybody. Also made few pictures to proof the point.
I was there for a late night dinner beautiful Cozy environment in the restaurant we stayed in the terrace in the back doors it was very warm the food was served with a time delicious food I had the caprice he salad and the margarita pizza once we came in the first time we didn’t have a booking and they didn’t have any tables available so they booked us a table after one hour we came and went directly to the terrace and had the food the food tastes very nice also the staff is very friendly will definitely come back again when I visit Chester
My partner and I Visited Sergios Italian restaurant. The food was absolutely stunning, the best Italian food I have ever tasted. The atmosphere was amazing, the staff were the friendliest of people and couldn't do enough for us. Will definitely be returning to Sergios when we next visit chester
Went for my wife's birthday, could only get a table at 9.30 due to it being so busy, which I suppose is a good sign. Food was excellent, service was excellent no complaints at all.
