Very small place with mainly couples, we were a party of seven but they accommodated is well by pushing for sets of tables together. The waitress was very attentive and happy to explain anything on the menu. I started with chicken wings which were okay, not great but perfectly edible. I then went on to duck which was lovely, cooked with a bit of pink as I like it, others had chips with their meals which I tried, they were delicious also. Dessert was a kindly piece of cheesecake which again was fantastic. If it wasn't for the chicken wings I would have scored then five stars, would I go back, yes of course I would.

Never bothered leaving a review before, but this restaurant definitely deserves one. Beautiful food, perfect portion sizes, lovely staff, great vibe. Can't fault it! Thank you

Incredible food, not a single criticism. Cosy relaxed atmosphere, attentive and knowledgeable staff. Lunch menu is extremely good value. Can't wait to go back!

Excellent as usual. Brilliant food with exciting combination of flavours on all courses. Staff friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Relaxed atmosphere and is without doubt one of the best restaurants in the UK.

Easily the best restaurant in Chester. An ever changing menu of seasonal foods serves with excellent presentation in wonderful themed menus. The drinks selection is also superb and the mystery menu is well worth a go to try something new and unexpected! Highly recommended.
