"The only Pub and Indian restaurant in the beautiful village of Hurley.. We serve Pub classics and authentic Indian food.. River Thames is a 5 minute walk , Log fire in the winter and a beautiful beer garden in the summer. There is a car park, sky sports. takeaway and we specialise in home made pizzas. Our range of beers and ales is fantastic and great value for money. We also do outdoor catering and lots of events through the year. Recently bought by Ashwin Roda who has bough a new concept to an already fantastic village pub."

First time to the Rising Sun. Have to say my husband and I had a lovely meal. Pub food done well! I had the Caesar salad - a mouthful of chicken in every bite. Very filling. Can recommend to anyone visiting. Friendly helpful staff too.
Today 15th October I had booked a large group to have lunch after a river walk from Marlow We were pleasantly surprised at the customer service and the food was yummy. Just 5 minutes after we sat down the food pre ordered was being served. It was very tasty and filling. The staff were attentive and very helpful. Considering there were over 20 of us, the whole experience was very good. 5*
Tell you what, I have never experienced a Biryani like that in a pub before. Absolutely superb. Will definitely be back to try a few more dishes. Wide range of well kept beers.
We had an amazing Sunday lunch here over the August bank holiday weekend. Amazing food and Cider. Very friendly staff and loved having our crazy kids there. Defiantly go there again
Pretty disappointed really. Seemed to offer so much in a beautiful building in a lovely village, service was good, as was the menu but let down by the quality. In my Sunday roast, I was served rotten potatoes and my wife, who has a nut allergy, started getting an itchy throat whilst eating her meat roast. Clearly some contamination between the nut prep and the meat roasts. Uncomfortable but not disastrous for my wife, but could be much worse with a more severe allergy. Sadly we will not be returning despite wanting to return to the area again.
Friendly atmosphere, excellent village pub with welcoming staff and clientele. Food is very tasty, and well prepared. Highly recommended!
Dog friendly place with water bowls by each out door table. We had beef strips with onion in ciabatta
Very friendly pub , good range of real ales and a local helped me out a lot sorting a cab out for me after I got stranded in Hurley today. Big shout out to Steve Rico for his help. Highly recommended .
Very nice pub. Good beer garden. Had the pizza, was very nice. Big pizza Good selection of food. The Indian food looked very tastey too.
Nice pub restaurant, good food and very pleasant and friendly staff. I liked the pub, food and atmosphere, very pleasant.
