Drinks aren't too expensive, there's football on, a pool table, machines and a good size car park. The girls behind the bar were friendly, helpful and chatty. We got a take away and had macaroni cheese and the Katsu chicken. My only complaint was that there wasn't more of the Macaroni cheese. Would definitely visit again.
Food and service were great, staff friendly, and acertive . Great value for money.
We decided to let someone else take the stress and strain from the Christmas Dinner this year. We found the Pond House pub at Maidenhead on the Green King website and the Christmas menu looked good. So decided to put ourselves in their hands for Christmas day. How happy we were to have done so, Jacquie ,Paul and their team were extremely good hosts, and moreover the meal was excellent particularly the turkey was cooked to perfection, we were a party of 12 and everyone enjoyed the meal and service . So if your looking to do the same as us next year you will not be disappointed, we will be going back next year God willing. So thanks again Jacquie and your team for a fantastic start to our Christmas.
I like this place for its simplicity. Bar snacks, full meals and a Sunday Roast. Sports on the multiple TVs around the pub. Separate areas either side and behind the bar. Comfy seating, outside areas and a general friendly atmosphere.
A very friendly, local, neighbourhood pub on the Bath Road in Maidenhead. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The menu for food and drinks was extensive and reasonably priced. There was a jovial atmosphere in the pub, encouraged by the live football coverage.
A great local pub with lots of sports on TV It's currently the World cup. Good nosh and drinks. Apparently the quiz on Thursday nights is highly recommended.
The Pub is nice. The food was just okay. Not everything from the menu could be ordered - so we ordered fish & chips. The lady at the bar was nice, but seemed new - she did not know whether mixed drinks like Snakebite could be ordered or not. So we only had cider.
Was in the pond house last night and had a really good evening the staff, Paul and Lilly behind the bar made my night ! Really easy to talk to ! Food was very good and very reasonable!!
Went to pond house a few months ago and said I would never go back as bad service and attitude from bar staff but did go in again tonight after work, staff were excellent ,different bar staff ,I will definitely be back ,thank you ,great pint of guiness
Lily is an amazing host and always serves with a smile. Nothing is too much trouble and she is happy to answer any questions. I love coming here!
