Exceptional atmosphere. Excellent bar. Good bar food. Pretty staff. Could spend numerous evenings here. Superb.
Thought I’d take advantage of the 50% off in January offer. I ordered wings and half chicken marinated in sriracha sauce. The food was very nice, not a thing wrong with it and portion size was very good. Service was good too. The only bad part was it wasn’t the actual sriracha sauce it was some revolution one. Not that hot at all really. Didn’t have any cocktails as I was being boring and doing dry January. Would come again.
Have been a few times for food and cocktails, always satisfied with both. Burgers are big and tasty, and the pizza is lovely and crispy-based, spot on. Wings are great too - I've only had the mild ones, but they're delicious. I've had a few of the cocktails too, not had a bad one, and staff are always happy and attentive. We were looked after by Arron on our last visit, a lovely guy who personally made our cocktails for us. Will definitely be calling back.
I frequent here during university term time. I highly recommend purchasing a Revs card to benefit from the discounts it provides. The staff are very friendly from my personal experience and the drinks are very nice, especially the cocktails. The food is also good and the atmosphere is amazing. One of my favourite places to go to.
We came in and ordered 2 daiquiris, the bartender said they dont do that, and they only do the cocktails that are on the menu. But he insisted on getting the manager. The manager came round and made us 2 daiquiris, gave him props for making good cocktails. We wanted to order more drinks, but we got refused service for no reason at all. Would be great to know why? Not to mention that the whole bar was empty with one guy sitting in a corner, yet they still refused service to their only customer.
Appalled by the attitude of the door man, who shouldn't have been present in the private function room anyway, as this was a private 21st birthday celebration !!. He desided to make an issue of a harmless situation, whereby a family member, who had travelled with her husband, 300 miles to attend had peacefully and understandably fallen asleep. Needless to say her husband was not too impressed when, with an hour or so before last orders, he was abruptly told to wake her up and take her home. No apology was made. However, the situation, thankfully, didn't get out of hand. There were also a few more incidents all of which have been reported that the management, in all fairness, should accept responsibility for. The bar staff, however, were very friendly, polite and professional.
Have enjoyed working alongside Kai and Revolution the last few months. Quick in response and very on the ball with ideas and getting new projects underway. I look forward to a continued good local partnership and trying more of the fantastic nee cocktails and food menu!
Great place to come for a few cocktails as a group. Bigger groups should probably ring in advance to make sure for a spot to seat. Food is really nice and the staff are very good!
Nicely decorated bar with lots of good cocktails. Had a Kettel teapot that was very enjoyable with my wife. Would recommend although is somewhat expensive.
My husband and I went in and had a lovely time until the doorman came over and asked him to take his hat off, which is quite common for some bars to do. I asked the doorman why, and he replied it’s the dress code. So I pointed out 2 men at the bar who also has hats on. The doorman replied : Its the manager. I walked over and asked the man if he was the manager and he replied, yes. I asked him the same hat question and pointed out he was wearing one too. He replied with a full pint in front of him.... that he was leaving... so I said : that’s not the point.. you are inside with a hat why is my husband not allowed to have his on? He replied: I’m not dealing with this and I’m pretty sure he said Sh*T He ran off like a teenage boy who was just dumped by his girlfriend. I was shocked, how “WELL” he handled himself and the situation. The other guy eventually took his hat off . The lady behind the bar joined in the conversation adding the hats weren’t allowed. I replied with: “He walked in with the hat on his head! He should have been told at the door... “ not 1-2 hours later” Later I was thinking that no staff at the bar said anything whilst serving us drinks either... I know this sounds stupid to go on about a “hat” but it’s the principe off the whole situation. Fallowfield Revolution .... NEVER AGAIN
