Damn fine food and drink. All what you'd expect but done with a twist that makes you glad you sat down to eat here. Good sounds and friendly service . I love the way this place just slows my day down and linger over some food and drink . Dog friendly to boot. Easily and enduringly Fallowfields finest
Can't speak for the hot food but I had a very nice americano with some kind of delicious cake. The coffee blend was light with fruity flavours but they didn't have a filter option unfortunately. The atmosphere was great, with a group of people chatting on nearby tables and tasteful jazz on the sound system. Prices seemed very reasonable and I'm looking forward to going back to try a breakfast there.
Nice place! We got smoothies there and they were really great. Quite expensive for how much you get but juice is usually quite expensive anyway. The decor wasn't terrible but there is definitely was to make it nicer
Been here a few times for breakfast/lunch. Usually awesome. Last time, however, the food took over an hour to come and was stone cold when it arrived. They were so unorganised it was unbelievable, forgetting our milkshakes twice and not bothering to ask 3 of us about our food even after 1 complained. I've not given it 1 star as the food is usually top notch and was our go to breakfast place for a while. They also gave us a full refund. Put simply: Do not go if they have more than 2 other customers to deal with.
Visited on an early Sunday afternoon, nice casual place, has a bit of a shabby look about it but just added to its charm, we were seated straight away, food arrived in a reasonable time once ordered, slight error in one of the dishes ordered but was immediately corrected. The food was great, we were well looked after, service was excellent. Will be back.
Pleasant little café in the daytime, and has a roof terrace for fine weather. Absolutely excellent food, it really is. The service, whilst polite and friendly, could do with co-ordinating with a brain, though.
Polite, friendly staff, who treated our children as valued customers. We came for brunch and, other than slightly tough bacon and weird toast, the food was spot on. Pleasing decor and soft music. We will definitely be back.
The place looked nice from the outside but as we went in, I quickly realised it was like getting a turd in Christmas wrapping. The mugs were full of stains, how hard is it to wash mugs? They couldn't even clean the tables properly, my friend got her trousers defiled from touching underneath the table. Food was decent but the bacon was drowning in a sea of maple syrup it was a solemn affair
I ordered two breakfasts when the place was basically empty and the food didn’t arrive after an hour. I asked several times the staff about the food and they kept on lying saying that it was going to come in “the next 5 minutes”. Meanwhile they were bringing food to other tables that ordered after us. It turned out that they had a problem with the kitchen tickets and the order didn’t go through. Despite they knew about their mistake they still put my order on the waiting list behind several other orders that came after and kept on lying an making excesses such as “your food takes longer to make”. This just shows a huge lack of care and professionalism since the kitchen is just behind the bar counter. An absolute waste of time.
Great place to go for a drink in the evening, good prices. The venue is a bit small so you'd have to go early to​ find a seat. There's a terrace and sometimes live music on the first floor.
