What a wonderful restaurant! The venue for a buisness meeting, the visit was my first. Excellent ambience, very friendly and helpful staff. The food slow cooked pork belly bites was delicious especially the great chips uniquely so too!. Highly recommended if you're thinking of visiting.
Beautiful setup and very welcoming. Food was gorgeous and thoroughly enjoyed. Prices were a bit on a high side but large portion of tasty food so worth it! Will visit again on a family special or a good friends gathering occasion.
Been a while since I was last here, fortunately the quality and service is still as good as ever. Be warned! The garlic bread is a full 10+ inch pizza base so best to share with others. Main courses were pretty big so best to go with a healthy appetite. Also, it was busy this evening so best to book a table so you're not disappointed. Dessert options look great, but sadly we couldn't partake due to previous courses.
We arrived on quite a rainy afternoon. The carpark isn't in the best of shape, and although the walk way to the entrance does have a canopy, with all the potholes in front, it's hard to miss the large puddles. On entry we spoke to a polite member of bar staff who seated us. The seating was elevated, a bench on one side of the table and stools the other. I'd have rather we sat at ground level but it was ok. It was warm on arrival but not overly so. The lady who served us was lovely and helpful. Our first round of drinks consisted of two cocktails and a mocktail. I enjoyed a whiskey Sour, it was ok although it was a bit light on the whiskey. I ordered a steak baguette, my niece's ordered the Cajun burger and Mac n cheese. The baguette was very nice, my niece didn't like the Mac n cheese and later ordered a garlic bread with cheese instead, my other niece enjoyed her chicken burger. The fries were disappointing, clearly standard catering frozen fries. The garlic bread was nice although quite oily and very cheesy. Tasty but hard to eat. The girls had another mocktail and a water while I enjoyed a white russian and a smokey old fashioned. I did wonder how they would be doing the old fashioned, especially as it was "smokey" I checked what whiskey they used before ordering traditionally it's rye bourbon, they used Buffalo Trace which does make a decent old fashioned, I had worried they would either use JD or a peated Islay whisky, neither would have done great in an old fashioned. It arrived under a glass cloche filled with smoke a great visual. It looked impressive and did add a smokey flavour. Unfortunately I couldn't taste the bitters, it also seemed to lack the sugar cube or syrup and contained an orange slice rather than just the rind. As you can probably guess, I like an Old fashioned and this, despite the visuals, was just average and again seemed to be shy on the bourbon. Overall, service was wonderful, staff were all very pleasant and polite, I don't think it was worth the overall cost and the menu felt very limited. It seems more like the sort of place youd go for staff drinks. I may go again with it being local but it wouldn't be my first choice.
Amazing! Great vibe, attentive staff and top notch food with wide cocktail and vegetarian range. Lovely floral interior with plenty of comfy booth areas. Personal touch from Chef Muks to ask how everything was at table.
Famtastic....once again. We had roasted red pepper soup, gluten free- and fabulous. Gluten free pizza,, wonderful. Kids pizza, kabobs, add and the blackened cajun chicken burger....so tasty and delish. Exceeded my expectations for sure.
Very disappointing experience. The room was uncomfortably warm to begin with which made me want to rush just to get out of there. There was a pitiful selection for vegans - just a burger or a salad. I had the burger which turned out to be the worst vegan burger I have ever had. It came with nothing but a thin smear of relish and a single tiny lettuce leaf and a few chips. No slaw, no side salad and only a single, thin patty. I asked for vegan mayo but there was none. My meal was very small in comparison to the other meals served to those in my party, but was still the same kind of price. The only vegan dessert was sorbet so I didn’t bother. I won’t be returning as there is nothing on offer to return for. It’s quite obvious that the vegan options have been given no thought or imagination and feel like a token gesture. If you are going to offer such a poor vegan meal, at least have the decency to make it cheaper than the full sized meals!
Tasty food but thought the cocktails lacked favour. Lovely establishment great staff. I would definitely visit again. Parking: Ample parking in the day.
Went today for my mums funeral, the room, and the food were lovely, the staff couldn't do enough many thanks to you allFood: 5/5
Went for a birthday treat here. The cocktails were lovely and the service was great. Most of the food was really good, but I ordered the fillet steak which is expensive and was so disappointed. It was really over cooked and dry, so I had to send it back. Overall, the food is really overpriced. It’s a shame because it looks like a lovely restaurant. I wouldn’t go again for food unfortunately. A nice place for drinks though.
