Visited 20/09/2022, called ahead and made a reservation. Arrived and greeted fairly quickly and taken to assigned table for the group. Drinks order taken and then once arrived then ordered food. Came fairly quickly and then once done ordered from desserts menu provided separately. Service great and majority of the food was given great reviews from the group. The steak ciabatta feedback was not as good as previously had could be a one off. Good service provided by all the team who looked after the group. Worth going for a meal, and during nice weather to sit in the outside area too is recommended.
Visited again for another Sunday roast. Delicious. We ordered a bottle of red wine, received white and rolled with it. The atmosphere was vibrant, as a match was playing in the pub. It brought life to the busy restaurant. Roasts were great, just as before. Staff was busy and very pleasant definately enjoy the depth and flavors of this filling meal. Visited again with an out of town guest and thoroughly enjoyed it again.
Went here for afternoon lunch, our 1st visit. What a find, great pub, nice location, decor very nice and very big, garden room very nice. The food was delicious and a good price, we had 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 drinks £44. Looking forward to our next visit.
This was an excellent bar with excellent service.A good variety of food and drinks on the menue .The food was delicious and the cocktails were excellent value .I definitely recommend this bar restaurant and I will definitely be coming back . Parking: Excellent plenty of parking space .

First time I've been since the rebuild and although nothing like the old place , Fanny's has undergone an incredible change. Bright, fresh, open and airy, this pub is suited to any occasion you can imagine. Nooks and smaller areas in various places, the bar is versatile and adaptable. Not cheap pub grub, expect to pay high end prices but you get what you pay for. The menu caters for all types of diet and the food is delicious. Ample parking, many outdoor places to sit, friendly and attentive staff. Worth a trip of the beaten track to spend a relaxing afternoon or evening. Not sure if bookings are necessary, but we just turned up and got a table. Check it out.
Nice place and the food was tasty. Waiting on staff were nice enough when they came to us but no one checked if the starter or main was ok and we weren't offered extra drinking during the meal. We were sat in a back room and we were the only table in there til the end of the meal so just felt forgotten about. I have rated 4 star as I would go and try it again as perhaps they were just short staffed that day? Who knows
What a great find!!! Never knew such a great restorant was there. Beautiful food and big portions. We just turned up without booking, it was busy but the table was found for us. Brilliant table service, price was just average but then we had the food, wow it was amazing and loads of it. So worth it.
All the staff were v helpful especially with 3 people with poor mobility. The food was lovely. Bonus to have the heated outdoor seating area too. Photos were after half eaten lol A chilled pleasant meal out.
I attended the venue on 8th Dec with my work colleagues, party of 32. I would have given the venue 5 stars, as the majority of the meals were lovely and the staff looking after us were extremely good and on the ball, they alone deserve a 5 star rating. The let down was with a vegan meal choice. Despite confirming the meal choices, on the night they couldn't deliver, but chose to tell us on the evening. We had asked for a Wellington vegan version so without feta and was told weeks earlier it would be fine. We also confirmed a ginger sponge pudding for a friend who is a vegan, only to be told on the night we didnt confirm, resulting in us being served fruit, which we sent back and waited for the correct desert. I firmly believe there was definitely a lack of communication between the member of staff who took the booking and the kitchen as I had confirmed our menu choices weeks earlier. Dietary restrictions: Not a lot of choice for vegans.
