A great find. We will definitely go back and bring friends and family. The food was excellent. Tuesday nights are curry night and luckily one of us likes curry. The lamb curry was packed full of first class lamb chunks and was excellent value. I had the Pork Belly and Black Pudding pictured which tasted amazing and was also a good portion. The food and service was top notch and the bill was great value. Thank you Reindeer Inn.
Very good menu, and fantastic food. Staff are very courteous and helpful I cannot comment on waiting times as we went during a quiet period and were served promptly. I can imagine a slightly longer waiting time if the spacious restaurant was full but if the efficiency we observed is the same during peak times I would guess that they would have it under control.
This was my first visit here after hearing lots of recommendations of how lovely it was & I wasn't disappointed. The restraunt is spacious & well presented. Staff were lovely & attentive, nothing was too much trouble for them. We visited on a Wednesday evening which is Steak night... 2 sirloins for £35 or 2 Fillets for £40, cooked to my liking, well done, not black or scortched cook to perfection & had a peppercorn sauce to accompany my steak. The food tasted amazing, home made onion rings as a side & even tried the pudding Chocolate Concrete & custard, not had that since school & tasted amazing. Cant recommend this place highly enough & will definately be back Monday is Burger night & Tuesday Curry night, wed Steak night, Thursday Pie night & Friday is Fish fry day When you visit you will not be disappointed
Nice looking venue, reasonably priced bar, majority helpful staff. Buffet food is a bit unique, but everyone has there preferences. Overall good!
Booked for Mothers Day meal, we were seated late. Our original booking was for 4pm. Our order wasn’t taken until 4:35pm. We ordered starters and mains and a child’s meal. When ordering half of the items on the menu were out of stock. We waited until 5:15pm and our starters were still nowhere to be seen. The tables around us had waited two hours for their mains and still hadn’t been served them. In the end we walked out at 5:30pm. One hour and an half after our original booking and no food. Absolutely disgraceful service. The staff were less than helpful and the manager was nowhere to be seen even with all the complaints from tables around us. I chose to visit this place because they had been given good reviews by friends. Unfortunately this will be my only visit. Nothing was compensated from the terrible service either and you were just left to wait it out with no communication from staff. Food & drinks: Booked for Mothers Day meal, we were seated late. Went for Christmas dinner which was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only thing I felt was a bit noisy whilst we were trying to talk was the singer. But all in all it was very nice
Usually very good 4 or 5 stars, we regularly attend pie night, steak night etc… through the week. On this occasion we visited for a pre booked Christmas dinner with high hopes. Unfortunately they were not met. I think this Sunday was particularly busy and there was also a function. The staff were rushed, they seemed inexperienced and flustered. Lots of little things added up to making it quite a poor experience.
The food is superb, greatvatmosphereband selection of beverages. Always enjoy it when we visit. Cannot give any stars for rooms as we have never stayed over.Service: 5/5
Had our wedding reception in the conservatory room last Saturday. Superb room, food and service. We stayed over and the rooms are excellent, including breakfast.Rooms: 5/5
Went for Christmas Dinner, was ok but probably not worth the price. Started off well but in the end turned into a bit of a farce and took ages for the dishes to be served. Food was good though
