Nice to see this pub open again. The boss wife and I just been for a meal. The food was well prepared and very tasty as always. Staff always friendly and nothing too much trouble. We recommend you give them a try.
Had a fantastic time at the Red Lion Vegan Christmas Party!! Everything was so well planned and thought-out, the live music was great and it was so fantastic that they encouraged the children to participate. Had a great evening and massive thanks to all the staff both front of house and behind the scenes cooking such a delicious meal!!
Beautiful little pub, room was perfect, food and drink tasty and well priced. Staff lovely and very helpful. Would stay again and would recommend to others.

Cosy place, good lunch time meal deals, had two course lunch for £6.50 each presentation was good as was quantity and content.
Had a couple of nights here recently. Lovely big family room. Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Rural location, around 20 mins walk from Parbold station. Goat and sheep sanctuary next door. Comfortable beds. Clean accommodation. Reasonable price when booked direct. Would stay here again.
Fantastic food as always ! The Roast dinner was superb with real home made Yorkshire puds and beef stock delicious gravy . Service and staff as always were lovely - nothing is too much trouble - this is a real old style friendly local pub and restaurant - you can’t fault it
Lovely place, yet to try food but enjoyed a nice quiet drink here one friday evening.
Lovely staff and service was good untill more people came in and then we were forgotten...wanted a dessert but never came back to us...so we left..
No trolleys, so unable to do a big shop
