Great staff  .  Well run by landlord  and landlady  ..  homely  and welcoming.   Great local pub

Made this pub my 'local' on a two week business trip to Wigan. What a cracking pub!!! Made me, a complete stranger, feel very welcome. Very friendly staff and locals. Loved the atmosphere during the sport on tv.
