It’s a big place with a lot of tables and good hot food, I was lucky and got my pizza from the furnace. Of course it’s not cheap
The soup is good especially on a rainy day. The lady at the food service is nice but the cashier guy, David C, kept talking with his colleague and even didn't bother to look at me until I asked to pay with card. Please respect the customers when working and respond to their greeting at least by looking at them!
Food is cafeteria style but restaurant prices. And the toilets supposedly reserved for patrons have all castle visitors using them and no toilet roll on our visit. Not impressed!
No bacon roll was on offer! What the actual?! Ended up getting a ham and cheese baguette for me and the kid,it’s insanely tough to bite thank god we’ve good teeth or else there would be a lawsuit . Coffee and scone were ok though but then I don’t know how anyone could mess that up.
Soup was very nice.
Not as clean as I would have imagined plus some of the food was rather cold but otherwise it wasn't all that bad, especially the soups were really nice
I was surprised by an absolutely delicious vegan sandwich and a hot chocolate with almond milk! Thank you for serving such delicious and nutritious foods to vegans. It matters. I love you for that!!
I expected much more of the Christmas lunch I had at the Jacobite room of the Edinburgh castle. The food was ok and it was a cool experience, but nothing really outstanding.
Prices were OK. Food was very much cafeteria food quality and standard. I think the soup was the most flavorful.
