Story

The Rosehip offers a delightfully cosy and quirky atmosphere in which to enjoy your meal made from the finest seasonal and local ingredients. We offer a stunning helping of daily specials as well as an Early Evening Menu and a lunch time Soup and Sandwich deal.

Our friendly and knowledgeable staff are here to help you decide which of our 200 whiskies to try and we also have a fantastic selection of Scottish craft beers and spirits along with a carefully chosen wine list to help accompany your meal.

Super lovely and helpful staff. I only stopped by for a quick coffee break, but it was so so nice. I served by Andrew, who was very welcoming - not only with me, but I also noticed it with all other customers who came in. Thank you for a lovely coffee break!
What a super little find The Rosehip was. We had a superb lunch of soup and sandwich which was super fresh and delicious. The following evening we went back for evening meal -- wow ! Nachos to share, fish and chips and haggis with tatties delivered with a Robbie burns poem great place with lovely staff - you won't be disappointed.

Great chilled atmosphere, the best Bailey's hot chocs going. Nice large takes available for groups. Perfect for a brew or glass of wine and chat with a friend or a place to have a rest and drink while exploring Edinburgh. Great, warm & friendly staff
