Nothing wrong with the site. Nice pitches, with well kept hedges and trees providing shade and screening.nAmple, clean facilities.nStoke Gabriel is a lovely village to visit. Gorgeous old pub and the mill pool is lovely for walking round. The village shop is well stocked with local produce.nUnfortunately, our stay was ruined by selfish guests playing very loud music outside on a sunny day.nSeveral vans were allowed to park with habitation doors overlooking neighbours areas, meaning absolutely no privacy and shared grass areas.nNot sure why the wardens allow this, as most other club sites do not and habitation doors facing the one direction is compulsory.nUpdated following a Sunday afternoon: Site staff continually drove about the site on a miniature 4x4 tractor with trailer wearing ear protection, seemily unaware of how intrusive the noise they were making was.nA late arrival pitched nearby at about 8.45pm. They continued to set up their outfit until at least 10pm. Hammering, leveling and drilling continually. Seeming unaware of everyone around.nI have never been anywhere like this. This is not a peaceful site despite other reviews. Shame as it could be so much better.
When we arrived at the site, the staff opened up earlier for us, the staff was amazing, the site was very clean and well kept, second time we have stayed there, beautiful site, well worth a look at this site, will be returning soon, a very well done the the staff and team who run it. 10 out 10 well done guys.nShaun and Claire
Just had a 2 week stay at this lovely peaceful site. Friendly, conscientious managers keeping it neat and functioning.nLoss of star due to outdated toilet emptying facility at the lowest end of the site.
This is a really quiet, clean site. Large pitches. There is plenty of room for a large motorhome or caravans. Good bus service that takes you to Paignton where you can access other bus routes. It is Devon, so roads to site narrow.
Be warned from 28 Oct 24 for 5 days Stoke Road will be closed between its junction with Tor Park Road and Yalberton Road. There is a diversion but will only be suitable for cars as it’s on very narrow roads with No passing places.
