I guess back in the day this hotel might have been OK but now it’s very tired.
 My bedroom looked it it hadn’t been updated in years.
 The window didn’t close properly which was particularly bad at 6am when the lorry started it’s noisy delivery at the shop next door.
 Both curtains were very worn with one having a complete tear, the radiator wouldn’t completely turn off but my favourite thing was the bogey stuck to the ceiling about the bed. I have attached photos for your viewing pleasure. 
 The breakfast was poorly presented with rubbish left everywhere. 
It would have rated a zero star if not for the clean and comfortable bed.

The room we stopped in was adequate. There is a fee to pay off you use the hotel car park. Generally the hotel looks like its in need of an upgrade and is looking quite tired. That said we had no complaints during our stay.

Grim is the only word that describes my room. Old decor and not worth £53. Bad bed, bad pillows. On the plus side, it is fairly clean

The room we were given was very outdated with mismatched furniture, a hard bed and a tatty old kettle. The walls were cracked and the paintwork was grubby. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel needs updating and the room needs to be refurbished to compete with other budget hotels.

The rooms are in dire need of refurbishment. The water in the taps is so hot as to be unsafe. The shower is fine if you're short. The radiator in my room wasn't working and the room was so cold I had to use a towel as an extra blanket. At breakfast there was obviously stale bread. The staff are OK but really it's the management/owners that need to be changed.
