Nice welcome at reception good rooms more up to date. Locations for food nearby garage next door but actual service station closed down. Take away food delivered to room quiet location

Zero stars I'm afraid. Badly signed leaving the motorway. Just a tiny sign in a badly lit poorly serviced access..track. when compared to other travel lodges and premier inns, this place is left badly lacking. There is no bar, and no food is offered / available. The room was clean and basic, but the sound of the central air con droned noisily. The area is in a state of decline and in need of a major upgrade.. reception was as good as could be expected, but the standards were not comparable to the competition. I would not choose the visit again. There are much better alternatives. I was forced to add 1 star, but it's not that good...just saying

Regular user of Travelodge’s (company Buisness account) have more than likely stayed in every hotel in the country. I have to say Travelodge - Leicester Markfield is one of the worst. Poorly renovated, terrible sound proofing if any at all, would almost go as far as saying dangerous! I was given room 200 which is at the top of the stairs within the landing area (classic room that has multiple corridor fire doors outside the room that all bang loudly). I was awoken at 12.30am by one of the staff, it would appear that there is also a stock room outside the room within the loud banging door area! He had chosen to restock the replenishment trolley with mugs and spoons on top, I can only describe the noise as someone dropping a spoon into a mug over and over and over again....as I mentioned at 12.30am, directly outside the room, with little or no sound proofing. Total lack of thought for customers sleeping.

Clean spacious room. Can't ask for more really. Had a good night's sleep, quiet and set back from the road. Ample parking for larger vehicles.
